PTZ Camera with 3G-SDI,HDMI and IP Streaming Outputs,30X + 8X Zoom,Broadcast Live Streaming Camera for Conference,Events,Church and School etc

I purchased this camera believing it was model BA30N-W, but it turned out to be model BA30L-W which I cannot even find on the SMTAV website. I dont know the difference and, frankly, wonder if I may have purchased a knock-off. I got the video to work over the network cable, but cannot get PTZ control to work (except by connecting to the cameras IP address from a browser). Connecting it to my network was quite a challenge, especially given the inaccurate User Manual (V1.1) that came with. After connecting the network cable, two methods were given for setting the IP address. Method 1 was to press *-#-4 on the remote to see the IP address on the screen. What screen? Method 2 was to use upgrade_en.exe to search for the IP address. That seemed reasonable because thats the utility I needed to change the IP address. But, where do I get that program--it is not to be found on the SMATV download page. I took a flyer and downloaded Win Upgrade Tool instead. Unzipped the folder, and ran its only executable which Windows security blocked. After circumventing that problem, it finally opened in Chinese. Camera is working now and seems to work fine, except I cannot control the PTZ functions from my studio software. Unless I can get further support, I will need to return.

This camera has been giving me nothing but problems since the day it arrived. The video quality is great, very clean and clear. But that’s about it. The buttons on the remote randomly sticks or stops functioning; the PoE capability no longer powers the camera without destroying the remote switch port; the network interface software stopped functioning; the web interface is buggy and will overdo at random any command you send to the camera. For example, if you are zooming in just a little bit, the camera will take over and zoom to MAX setting as if the button is stuck. Can you imaging how embarrassing this is during a live broadcasting event??? After hours and hours of troubleshooting, the warrantee is over and so I supposed I’m now stuck with it product and will have to purchase something that has better quality operating capability. Stay away from this one!!!

We bought two of them for our church. The best value for your money compared to the other brand name in the market. Best solution for livestream with less set up. Better picture, crisp image easy to use. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a PTZ Camera.

We purchased on a budget for our church live streaming services. Works fine, good video quality. Compars with units much more expensive. Weve had 2 units for six months or more.

If you do your homework, you will find that this IS a premium camera sold at less than half the cost of its name brand twin brother. I am very pleased with my purchase and if I need another one I will be buying the SMTAV BA20 again. I used it for video recording and streaming of Varsity Football and Soccer. Great results, easy to use!

Purchased for a Church and performs well. Once in a while subject might get slightly out of focus but then recovers shortly after. 30x zoom is helpful since camera is 75ft away from stage

As always, I was not disappointed with the quality of the camera and video quality. I have bought and installed a few for churches, clients are always happy with video quality and price.

Purchased this unit to live stream our church services. Works great, love the features, and it was easy to install. The only negative comment is that the remote is clumsy...even with presets. Works much better with a joystick controller.

Excellent camera

The camera worked right out of the box. Powered the camera via PoE+ over a 250 foot Cat6 network cables with no issues. The picture quality is great and there are a lot of user controls for iris and color making the camera work well both indoors or outdoors. Setting up the camera was easy and my new PTZ controller had no issues with communicating with the camera. Overall I am very happy with the camera. I was worried that buying this camera over the PTZoptics camera could have been a mistake. Happy to report I am glad I saved myself $800 buying this camera.
