> 3 dayWhen we moved, the hard water stains were real. Professional cleaners could not get them gone. We would pour bleach in while gone for a weekend and still no improvement when cleaning. These are the results from 1 pumice stone. The larger portion of the bowl cleaned so fast! The small area in the center was more difficult with the angles. Its not perfect, but so much better!

Greater than one weekI originally purchased it because a plumbers snake left metal marks on my toilet bowl. I read online that these were stains, not scratches and that pumice could take off the stains. I was skeptical, but it really worked! It took some scrubbing, and the pumice wore down to half original size. Then I started working on hard water buildup, and that finished off the first stick. Later, when my roommate moved out, his toilet hadnt been properly cleaned in ~7 months and was encrusted with hard water deposits layered with black mold and yellow stains around the rim an in the drain of the toilet. Yes, disgusting. The toilet wand isnt helpful at this point. It took 3/4 of one pumice to get through most of the encrusted matter, because this pumice is so crumbly that it wore down fast. Also, I needed to break off a little piece to get into the rim of the toilet, because the shape of this stick blocked full access to the uppermost rim. I used a different one to work on the scale buildup around some sink faucet fixtures. It takes it off, except in tight spaces. Overall, its better than nothing, and convenient if you dont want to go to the store, but next time Ill head to the hardware store and pick up a more heavy-duty pumice. Theyre a little more expensive, but higher quality products last significantly longer!

New flats for old ones
> 3 dayThese at fantastic cleaning tools for making you ceramic/porcelain shine like new again! The well water leaves mineral deposits and it doesnt matter what you use or how often, it builds up. I was ready to switch out the toilets and lavatories and then I heard about the pumice stone. I had nothing to loose, either clean or replace. When you clean areas, some not to easy to see, the toilet water rinsing flow in the bowl even improves. Im thrilled, a very cheap fix and even though you new the bowl was clean, it now looks clean too! Ive tried it all and this IS THE FIX!
