Greater than one weekSuper easy do-it-yourself installation even for a novice. The valve performs completely as advertised. Extremely quiet during flap opening, water discharge, and flap closing. It’s worth the few extra dollars over a loud and inefficient clunky sump water valve. Wish I installed decades ago. These should be standard in all residential homes. I’m going to get another one for the other sump pump in my home.

> 3 dayI ordered 2 of these and installed them both. I was so impressed by how much more quiet these are compared to any of them in the big box stores. No more air hammering noises! So quiet! So I ordered 2 more of them! A bit pricey compared to others but you definitely get what you pay for. Also its a plus that you can see through it! Dont hesitate and just buy the dam thing!

> 3 daySolved the banging in my PVC pipes. Super quiet now and I like that I could see the fluid in the valve. Highly recommend. And I like that you can install it horizontally.

> 3 dayI cant speak to longevity, but its fairly quiet and should last longer that the AY Macdonald silent checks due to its superior design. I was shocked to see the packaging started made in the USA. Hard to find at this price point.

> 3 dayIt was very easy to replace the old noisy check valve, and is so much quieter especially when the pump stops flowing and the valve shuts. Will update review long term.

> 3 dayThis is a great check valve. The rubber connectors made it easy to install, and it seems to work great. We use it in a lake on the input to a Honda dewatering pump we use to pump lake water up a long hill. It means that the pump doesnt have to suck the water up to it every time we pump. Installing it on the 1.5 in rubber pipe was trivial, and it works great so far (has only been a few weeks yet). Im hoping it lasts years but well have to see about that. But it seems to be great so far.
