Solved the banging in my PVC pipes. Super quiet now and I like that I could see the fluid in the valve. Highly recommend. And I like that you can install it horizontally.

Quite I’ve done 3 different versions this is actually quite no hammering or loud noise. Easy install 30mins to do both my main and backup sump. Highly recommend this product. 2 year warranty on parts.

I ordered 2 of these and installed them both. I was so impressed by how much more quiet these are compared to any of them in the big box stores. No more air hammering noises! So quiet! So I ordered 2 more of them! A bit pricey compared to others but you definitely get what you pay for. Also its a plus that you can see through it! Dont hesitate and just buy the dam thing!

After living my house for 30 years, always heard the pump going off in the house. The past few months it was getting louder, replaced the check value and after a few days the banging sounds are back. I have tried other brands/designs of quiet check valves without success. I like this style because of ease of install with the hose clamps. I like the heavy spring inside that keeps the check valve closed rather than a flap style that bounces. This has positive closure and quality design. Ive purchased two and would recommend these.

I have tried the standard Home Depot and Lowes check valves and both were very noisy. This check valve is more than twice the cost but is silent. I also like the clear plastic to see the water flow.
