A new gaming mouse company is arriving every day lately, and so many of them claim to make an ambidextrous mouse, but they really only cater to the right-handed. They seem to be a little embarrassed about it too, look at the pictures. Close-ups on those right-hand-only buttons but no pictures of the depressingly blank opposite side. So when PWNAGE came out with the Ultra Custom Symm, I was a bit vocal. It is frustrating when there are so few true symmetrical mice available let alone wireless ones. Then I found out about the PWNAGE Ultra Custom Ambi, and I had to have one for my collection. Overall it is similar in shape to the GPW, but is a bit smaller. The DPI button is up top behind the scroll wheel. The power button is confusing at first since it has 3 options, off, power with RGB on the scroll wheel only, which indicates the DPI level, and power with full RGB. The right and left mouse buttons work great with no notable slop. The scroll wheel is functional, nothing to get excited about and the side buttons are well-placed. Weight is slightly less than the GPW. It is impressive that the Ambi feels very solid even though the removable covers and buttons are held on with tabs and magnets. Battery life lasts almost a week between charges for me, which is not bad. I’m a claw grip person, so the honeycomb shell doesn’t both me. The software for the Ambi is a small file with a straightforward interface. Switching the mouse buttons is easy, but a toggle would be nice for right and left-handed. The Ambi has a lot going for it, it is customizable by color, and even more so if you go through the PWNAGE website. Where a lot of the big names give you one or two colors and special editions for games you might not play, PWNAGE offers black and white by default and the Ambi comes in mint, red, pink, maroon noir, gold amber, and chameleon pearl or any combination of those colors if you want to customize. So, if you want a wireless mouse in a different color than black, or think the GPW is a bit too big, or are a lefty like me, or maybe share a computer with someone who is, then it is easy to recommend the Ambi.

My 15 year old son, like most kids, is obsessed with gaming. He has a PlayStation but prefers to use a keyboard and mouse with the console. Hes been using a cheap mouse, which is fine for some games, but he gets pretty hardcore with it - which is why hes been begging for a mouse like this. Specifically, one with side buttons, including programmable ones. Response time is instant. We havent noticed any lag in his gameplay. Its such a vast improvement over the cheapy mouse he had. It never occurred to me that a mouse could be causing delays. Now I know. Turns out you really do learn something new everyday. While the price is higher than I prefer to spend, you definitely get quality. Id definitely recommend it for any gamer.

This mouse is visually pleasing in design and feel, and the flashy lights are a nice gimmick. Its light and glides along my desk smoothly. I appreciate that the small button below the wheel can change the mouses DPI settings (cursor sensitivity), without having to install extra software to configure it. I love how high quality the charging cable looks and feels as well! It feels like a nice new shoelace or something. The extra mouse customization pieces are a good idea too, for people who dont want the honeycomb look. (though I like the honeycomb pattern, myself.) I am not a big fan of the side buttons with the back and forward functionality. Basically as far as I can tell, if you are on a web browser, it puts you back or forward a page. Its too easy to accidentally press these, and to disable them it seems I have to download configuration software from the pwnage website, which was not mentioned in the instructional booklet.

This is an awesome mouse for gaming and for every day use. I use it for work because and play because I love the feel and lightweight aspect of it so much. It is easily customizable and if you take the time to dial it in to optimize your game play it will really shine. It did take me a little bit of time to really fine tune it to my liking but once I got the customization down, it actually does make a difference in my gameplay. The RGB is nice and not as flashy as other gaming mice with RGB. The only con I can think of with this mouse is the battery life. Im lucky if I get 3 full days of use before it needs to recharge. My other wireless mice, gaming and every day, last much longer than that. I think maybe this is a downside of having a mouse this light. Im ok with the trade off but its just something to be aware of. Other than that, this is a great mouse and I greatly enjoy using it for every day tasks as well as gaming. Take the time to dial it in and you will really appreciate this gaming mouse!

Pwnage Ultra Custom Ambi Wireless Gaming Mouse - Esports Pro Gamer Adjustable Sensor Position - Flawless Professional PMW3370 Optical Sensor 19,000 DPI - Custom RGB (Honeycomb Sides, Wireless, Black) A very lightweight solid performer. Ticks all the right boxes. I use it exclusively in wired mode, as all good mice should be. Very soft pliable cable stays completely out of the way in use. Excellent fit, finish, responsiveness, precise mousing heaven with this one. Been using a Roccat Burst as my daily driver for a long while, but this one easily replaces that one. I prefer lightweight and agile mice and this one fits the bill perfectly. The price is up there yes, but for reliable performance, sometimes paying the extra bucks is easily worth it. The sensor used in this one is a flawless sensor. Dont care about bells and whistles. I want agility, precision, and reliability, and this one has all that. The best mice are the ones that stay out of your mind and out of the way so you can focus on your game.

I am a mouse enthusiast and collector, I currently own over 30 mice and have probably owned every major mouse at one time (at least one version of each mouse). The adjustable sensor is amazing, Ive always wanted this feature and never understood why it wasnt a standard, just like mouse size there is no one size fits all. Sensor position is similar in a way, at least for fingertip grip. It might work better for anyone who uses their wrist to aim a lot, if youre mainly an arm aimer then sensor position wont have that much of an effect. A simple test is to put a pen in-between your middle and index finger pushed all the way in towards the knuckle, move your wrist on a piece of paper and note the arc that is created, now move the pen all the way out to the tips of your fingers and repeat, the arc will be much bigger. Moving the sensor away from knuckles when aim with your wrist gives you a lot more motion with your mouse cursor and having the ability to adjust the position and pick the exact amount of motion you want is great. Maybe you want the sensor just a little past the middle of the mouse or all the way to the front of the mouse for maximum motion before you had to find a shape you liked and then hope the sensor position was in a place you liked. Awhile back there was a kickstarter mouse that had this feature, but I dont think it ever launched. Apart from the adjustable sensor position the mouses build quality is good, nice side flex, creaking, etc. The mouse is a little heavy at 79g compared to most lightweight wireless mice these days, but I can deal with the 79g. I really like the shape, the sides are nice and flat, most mice have curves in the sides making it hard to get a good grip with just the tips of my fingers. Clicks are good, one small issue is the scroll wheel button takes quite a bit of force to push in, and the skates are a little scratchy first day. My main mice were the starlight 12 and the g pro x superlight, the Ambi will be replacing the superlight on my desk. Everything works perfectly with the ambi wireless mouse, the only question is do you like the shape? If the answer is yes, then give it a try for yourself

This is a super lightweight wireless mouse - really made for gaming bout it would work well for things like travel too where you want to carry the least weight possible. It comes with separate panels without vents if you want less holes in your mouse? It also comes with replacement side buttons that look the exact same as the installed ones. The mouse works great wirelessly and also works via USB which eliminates the charging concern. Overall, its a nice high quality, lightweight mouse - all you could ask for!

The description and specifics listed for this product are exactly what I received. When it comes to design, simplicity, and accuracy of a product, I am usually a stickler... However, this mouse has left me with absolutely nothing to complain about. Beautiful design, lightweight, great battery life, and very accurate when gaming. This mouse will stay on my desk for a long time to come!

This was an instant favorite the moment I took it out of the box. Little thoughtful touches, like hiding the dongle underneath the magnetic clip-on top plate, are brilliant. The mouse is a great fit in hand, smooth and responsive without being jumpy (though make sure you dial in your preferred sensitivity), and lots of fun to use. The only real way the mouse falls down is battery life. I often find it managed to discharge itself overnight, whether or not I forgot to switch it off. It’s very particular about what it charges from, too, presumably to avoid too powerful a charge — just use the included cable (one of those fabric-covered, sleek and flexible ones we’re seeing with mice lately) and charge it off of your PC. To be honest, I do prefer using this wired whenever I can. Do consider this if you want a lightweight ambidextrous mouse which makes it harder to lose the wireless dongle.

The ability to enable or disable the side buttons is just as awesome as being able to change the panel colors of the whole mouse and whether you want full, partial or no honeycomb, ability to move the laser on the bottom, change the depth of mouse button clicks, etc. The mouse wheel color reflects the dpi speed you have it set to. Tracking is smooth had has had no issues with any mousepads I’ve tried. The software looks a little plain, but thats deceiving because it does its job as it’s supposed to without having to be overly fancy, so no complaints there! Definitely worth it for the price compared to other mice that dont offer as much customization.
