> 3 dayI was looking for a glass container of 8-12 oz to use for measurement and heating purposes in kitchen. What better to buy then a Pyrex item. I like the material it is made of. Its very thick and kind of unbreakable (if you dont smash it hardfd !!) Red large markings are easy to read. The cup is vey easy to clean as well. A must have accessory for kitchen !

> 3 dayThey work and with pyrex, they will last years. I like to have about 3 or 4 of these and a couple of the two-cup versions and use them to prep ingredients before starting to cook. Saves time not having to wash during meal prep.

> 3 dayThe spout is a bit small so unless you pour very, very slowly, you will spill. The measuring cups are also available for half this price elsewhere online.

> 3 dayThey sell these 2 at a time...in the old days the paint didnt wear off. Today, if you want to read the numbers and use the dishwasher (after all it is listed as dishwasher safe) this will be an item that although the glass is fine, the enameled paint wears off and renders the vessel useless for measuring in a very short time.

> 3 dayThe pictures show a nice wide spout. The cups that arrived today have a very narrow spout. As other reviewers have said, that narrow spout causes spills and makes a mess--dangerous with hot liquids. Also, the cups do not have the detailed markings of the older style measuring cups. Overall, misleading advertising.
