> 24 hourThis SFP adapter seems well made, and, so far, has performed flawlessly providing a backbone network connection from an 8-port Gigabit POE switch. The POE switch this is connected to services eight video security cameras, a mix of 5MP and 4K cameras, all running two streams, (full-res and a sub-stream), at 15fps. This generates a steady stream of network traffic with little room for error. This SFP adapter handles the traffic with no issues, network packets are clean with no drop-outs of corrupt packets. The adapter is housed in a precision all metal case. It fit the SFP socket perfectly with no issues. The RJ45 socket has a locking flange to secure the connecting cable. This is a plug-and-play adapter - No setup is required. Im pleased with the adapter. It was very reasonably priced and is working well.

> 24 hourI dont have anything to test actual performance but I plugged it in and attached a CAT8 cable and the switch recognized it as 1000 Base-T speeds. Performance was exactly the same as the module I replaced for testing. Latch locks it in place and works for removing. Nothing more to really add here. It works as advertised.

> 24 hourI slapped this GBIC into my Juniper SRX300 firewall and it worked out of the gate. I was able to get an actual 1Gb throughput when testing file transfers across the SFP.

> 24 hourI tested this on my Dream Machine Pro and had to set the port to 1000M because of a bug in the software, but this worked fine. Good option if you need an extra RJ45 port in a pinch.

> 24 hourThis worked immediately when I plugged it into my Mikrotik hEX S router, giving me an additional usable ethernet port. Checked the interface, and it was auto-negotiated at 1Gbps (max speed on the SFP port of the hEX S). Ran a speed test plugged into this adapter and compared it with plugging directly into one of the existing ethernet ports, and there was no noticeable difference. I have gigabit cable internet, and got a little over 800Mbps download speeds in both tests, which is expected for my setup considering everything else on the network at the time the test was performed.

> 24 hourThis is one of those items that either works or ot doesnt. This was instantly recognized on my Aruba switch and provides me with an additional port as I dont currently need an optical connection. Its exactly what it says it is.

> 24 hourSFP-T transceiver works as expected providing upto tested 1Gbps speeds over CAT 5e cable. This is in use on a Juniper SRX 3xx device and no losses of packets under test conditions. Fits well into SFP cage with proper locking to cage. Cable connections are also tight allowing solid connections. For systems that can query the SFP there are some diagnostics that can be reviewed. While likely being unsupported by most hardware vendors this good backup alternative.

> 24 hourThis SFP-copper module turned my SFP + 4 port POE switch into a five port switch (with four ports POE+). It just works.

> 24 hourNeeded a RJ45 Transceiver for a project and for testing equipment. This works and is an outstanding value! Works exactly as advertised. Tested on a few Extreme Networks switches.

> 24 hourThis is a great value for a copper RJ45 Transceiver running at 1000BASE-T speeds. You cant go wrong with this inexpensive Copper SFP Transceiver.
