Quad Lock Out Front Bike Mount for iPhone and Samsung Galaxy Phones

After being a loyal customer for years, Quad Lock Customer service agent Raquel has really turned me off to the brand. I will never spend another dollar with Quad Lock.

I was surprised to find that every single part is plastic. They use a fancy name Poly Glass or something like that. But, the result is the same, cheap plastic. Maybe it will hold up on a road bike, but for mountain biking one good fall and it will snap like a twig.

I put this on my bike and the handlebars had a slight variance in diameter, not much but enough to cause the Quad Lock mount to loosen up during riding. I add some of the rubber spacers to make up for the differences and tightened it again and again because it still would rotate easily and then I realized that I had tightened to the point that the screw head went right through the clasps and made it useless. I never felt it give me any real resistance so I kept tightening it and ended up breaking it. Two stars because Im sure its my fault for overdoing it but it was too easy to break, and Im buying the pro one that is made of metal instead of nylon like this one is.

A must if you cycle a lot… great design and simple operation, highly recommended..

Great mount, fits perfectly, comes with different sized spacers to fit different thicknesses of handlebars. It hold my phone firmly on my bike even down steep and rocky terrain when and works seamlessly with my “Quad Lock” case.

Ive had this mount for a little over a year, attached to my casual errand-running bike. Its a good concept, marred by cheap execution. I got very lucky today that my phone wasnt destroyed when it broke, and I dont see myself gambling with another quad lock again.
