> 3 dayWe bought this copper mesh to protect some of our young garden plants from birds and other pests. We also bought it to secure several corner areas under our deck from birds making nests. The mesh is really lightweight and flimsy. It’s not that strong to deter the birds from building their nests. They just rip it open or bite through it even with two to three layers of mesh. So we need to find another product, like steel chicken wire.

> 3 dayI just installed it today as a mouse deterrent so I havent had time yet to see if it worked, but I assume there should be no problem as general research indicated mice shouldnt be able to chew through it. I liked how thin this mesh is, so its really easy to shove in between cracks and holes--I suggest using a drywall scraper to help shove it in, and then seal up the whole crack with caulk. EDIT: No new mice as of a year! So it seems to have worked.

> 3 dayTheyre gone (fingers crossed)! I am so glad I found out about this, from a Youtube video. I rent a large apt. in an old building. It is just not maintained very well. After ten years of inviting mice into my home, I finally got on my hands and knees with a flashlight and started blocking up all of the gaps and holes. I have a room that has a good size gap between the plasterboard and floor, and no baseboards. This was perfect for stuffing large areas up with something mice cant chew through. It is nice and wide, and can be folded or easily cut. And you can use long pieces. Also, apparently copper does not rust like steel wool does. Works great if you mix Flex Shot adhesive sealant into it so it also sticks (use disposable rubber gloves) in the gaps. Forget traps--the best way to get rid of mice is to block up the all the holes!

> 3 dayI used this on 5 raised garden beds in an effort to keep slugs (Pacific Northwest) off of my veggies. We simply unrolled it and wrapped it around each box about 2 from the top, using a staple gun to attach it to the wooden sides. It looks nice, was very easy to unroll and use, and is 5 wide, so it should keep those little buggers from reaching the top of the boxes and getting into the soil and plants. Crossing my fingers!
