Quic Silver Shampoo 16oz

My hairdresser suggested that I try using this as a mask on my own hair. I start with my hair dry and layer it on. After my hair is fully covered, I sit in it for 10-30 minutes. When I wash it out in the shower (and condition well), my blonde hair becomes SO much less brassy. People are always asking me if I got my hair done after I do one of these masks. GREAT PRODUCT.

I had high hopes for this shampoo in fighting the constant staining of my grey horse but found that it is not really any better than your normal every day horse shampoo and is sub-standard compared to the Cowboy Magic products. Use this one day and then use your everyday shampoo the next and you will see no difference at all in whitening or color in general. Whatever whitening agent it has in it does not really make much of a difference and this one seems to dry out the horses coat. Ill stick with Cowboy Magic from now on, it has more of a conditioning effect, smells better and cleans off the stains at least as well as this product. Maybe I expected too much but I certainly wasnt impressed.

My colt has on and off GI upset with feed change. This product does a great job of getting his tail light and pretty again.

I used this on my longhaired cat. It cleansed and rinsed well, and did not dry out his coat. I followed the directions which said not to dilute the shampoo, and I let it sit on his white legs and feet for one minute (used a timer). After rinsing out the shampoo, I blow dried him and noticed that his feet and legs had a lavender tint. Another bath with liquid dish detergent helped remove the lavender tint, and then he looked very white. The bottom line is that if you are using this on a cat or dog with medium/long hair, you should probably dilute it by adding some of this shampoo to your current non-purple shampoo.

I had a horse with a white mane and tail and I never forgot how shiny it made the hair - it looked like thin pieces of silver tinsel was woven in his hair. I’m going though the going platinum process (to diguise the gray in my hair) and it makes my hair very shiny and baby soft. If your entire hair is colored, it will take some of the color out, but i’ve only been getting my roots touched up for years. UPDATE: Last bottle leaked all over the inside of the box it was shipped in; the lid hadn’t been screwed on tight. There were other items in the box, but nothing was damaged - just had to wash off.

I used this on my hair not on horse hair, worked nicely and quickly. Seller also put in some free moisturizing bottles extra happy with that. Can’t beat the product for the price!

Liked that its easy to use, dont like that it doesnt brighten too much.

I’ve used this product for 35 years on my White Arabian horses and now on my white Shepard! Gentle on her skin and she’s stunningly white! Show stopper, as my horses were!
