Works great a very good product I will probably up next year

Easy to use and does everything I needed to do

A company that cares more about greed than customer relations. I am unable to access financial information from 2020 because I have a 2017 version of Quicken. The only way to access my own information is to purchase an update. Earlier versions of Quicken would allow you to continue to use their software. While they are capable of allowing for a one time purchase, they opt to not only make you purchase yearly subscriptions, they also do not allow you access to backed up files unless you purchase an update. Just sleezy and greedy.

I switched to a new computer, and had to install several programs. I couldnt find the Quicken disk, so bought a CD of it. Starter edition. Right. Works differently from the old 2015 program, is NOT as user-friendly, doesnt have some of the features of the original, and is extremely annoying. Trying to navigate to what you want, or arranging your world the way YOU want it is almost impossible. PLUS.....theyre charging me $30 per year for the privilege of using their software. AARRGH! Im searching for another bookkeeping program!!!!

I have been using Quicken (Intuit), for years. I purchased 2020 back in Nov. I was using Home and Business - but since their subscription ran out, Which I never used - now I cant use it at all. 25% of the screen is a renewl box that wont close unless you pay them for the use. I called and spoke with a no english person - said he could take care of it very quickly and I could start using Quicken - at 103.00 per year. I explained to the rep that I have macular degeneration in both eyes, and the ir box was taking up my space/ I have a 36 in. monitor and still have to blow everything up by 250% rto be able to add. This should be against the law to force people to use your products, and if you dont pay their fine. Maybe I should hire a lawyer for discrimanation and disabled blind person. Guess scam artist are all over - but big companies like Quicken get by with it.

Be advised that if you purchase the Starter edition as I did and you discover that you need features only available in the Premier edition, you will need to have chosen a Data File Password in the Starter edition before you upgrade. If you dont do this the Premier edition will ask for a Data File Password before it can open the file set up in the Starter edition. Live tech support could not solve this problem. Quicken web support states that you can click on the Forgot My Password button and you can get a code to create the Data File Password. However, the button leads nowhere and you are stuck with no resolution. I was able to load an earlier back up file where I could create the Data File Password but had to re-enter a years data. Very frustrating that tech support could not help. Otherwise I am very pleased with how the program allows easy entry of data and has good reporting features. I will continue to use it for now even though I will have to pay for it annually.

I have used Quicken as a purchased product for about 20 years. Switching from a PC to a Mac I had to subscribe to new Quicken. It was all set up and working, then when I went to open it the next day it did nothing. Same thing the next day, and the next day. I called tech support, first person hung up on me after putting me on hold to find out what to do. Second person had me unistall, reinstall, then declared the problem was my brand new Mac. When I explained all other aspects and programs on the Mac worked, he insisted I call Apple. He refused my request for a higher level of tech support. I inquired how to, and he agreed, to cancel my subscription.

my review is based on the fact that the product is not as advertised or the advertising is misleading and once you upload the product you cant get a refund of the money spent only the tax you paid. Dont waste your money this product isnt worth it.

not simple enough for old folks trying to convert to computer

I had trouble due to needing to reset my password. Tech support was great.
