My Mercury maintenance manual called for this product to be used to lube the ends of the throttle and shift cables and it exceeded my expectations. The throttle lever now shifts and moves easily and smoothly every time.

This is a good “all round” grease that can be used in fresh and saltwater. Good for coating prop shaft and thrust washers.
