I bought this to prop up my 13 Retina Macbook next to a 24 monitor. This laptop stand meet all of my expectations (which were set quite high from my research prior to purchase). I almost purchased the version without the swivel, but for the extra money, the swivel base is definitely worth it. Depending on what Im doing, Im able to swivel the laptop to face my desk chair or away from the desk were I have a music studio setup. I love the look of this stand and the silver finish matches the MBP exactly!

High quality construction and does what it is supposed to do. My mac fan is less noisy by being elevated and tilted as opposed to being on the desk, but that wasnt a concern of mine. The stand puts the computer at perfect eye level for me. Very happy.

Its a solid built slab of aluminum bent to hold your expensive laptop. Its very sturdy and well constructed (bent). Its literally a bent slab of aluminum and could hold more than your laptop weight wise. Its not going to tip easily. Its very sturdy. The rubber pads keep it from sliding around. Its got a nice cutout for feeding cables, and another for the thumb scoop for opening your laptop.

Must have for standing+ sitting.
