Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

I bought this laptop stand because I am was getting tired of looking down at my laptop screen, it was hurting my neck. Now it actually has helped me create a better setup, because my laptop is elevated and when I plug in my external monitor I can use the laptop screen at the same time, increasing my desktop space and increasing productivity since the screens are much closer to the same height now. I also like the cord management, it helps keep things cleaner. The space underneath works great to hold other things like my ipad when not in use, so my deskptop is less cluttered. I bought the one that does not swivel, its pretty sturdy and solid.

Aesthetically, this is definitely a beautiful addition to the desk. The designers definitely took a cue from Apple when they designed this stand. However, this is NOT designed for laptops that have tapered edges at the bottom of the computer. The lip on the stand just barely catches the tapered edge of my Samsung Ultrabook. I attempted to add more rubber grips on the stand, but the laptop still slides off after a couple days or if I dont position it just right. Not worth the heartache of finding my computer on the floor. The search for a good stand continues...

The design and craftsmanship of this stand goes beyond my expectations. Its heavy duty: It weights not much less than my 15 Macbook Pro. It sits nice and solid on my desk, gives me extra room and holds my MBP securely; very much like its a part of my laptop. Best of all, its gonna save me from having to see a chiropractor. That alone more than covers the cost.

If youre looking for a great stand to match the design of your MacBook Pro, this is the one. It is sturdy, well-constructed, and looks great. I cant believe Ive gone so long without using a stand like this. It has already changed my posture for the better. Ill recommend this to even I know.

Der Rain Design mStand ist super stabil, ich schreibe und arbeite darauf und bin ganz glücklich, dass mein Macbook jetzt nicht mehr direkt auf dem Tisch steht. Zum einen, weil man dann Platz für andere Dinge hat, zum Anderen, weil es wirklich angenehm ist, an einem höher gestellten Notebook zu arbeiten. Ausserdem kann man dann nicht mehr so schnell was über seinen wertvollen Laptop schütten :D
