I got this for my fiance to keep her safe and dry while walking to the bus. The umbrella will initially light up all colors before transitioning to only red. Due to the lack of an instruction manual, Im not sure if this is how it is supposed to work, or if there is a defect. I do know that red is a poor color choice for a safety light due to its wave length. It is better than nothing, but I would have rather got her a different one of higher quality.

It was a gift for my 4 year old son, the unbrella is large enough for atleast 3 people to be under! The lights are bright and all his friend just thought it was the coolest thing! Definitely a good buy!

This is the 2nd LED UMBRELLA from this company I own. The previous one lasted less than a year before the one of the short ribs came right off and then one of the long ribs that basically hold up the umbrella. However before that I would get compliments on it and people wanted to know where I bought it. I walk my dog even when its a light drizzle outside so it comes in handy. He loves his walk so we can let light rain stop us! LOL Well I finally had to buy a new one and decided to get this one again in black since its really the only one I found that has the LED lights exactly how I want them. It really a cute and fund umbrella. Well this new one, the tie wrap was hanging on by a literal thread. It came right off with the plastic wrap it comes in. So I am sending back. Due to the price there is no way I am keeping as is. Other than that the light work perfect and its overall a nice umbrella that I am sure will serve its purpose for a couple of months.

I was using a screwdriver to unscrew the screws to put in batteries but they easily get put in without any screwdriver needed.

Granddaughter loves it. Everyday her piers give her compliments

I mostly walk or use public transportation, and in the winter it gets real dark quick, and people drive like complete maniacs, so I wanted to get a PLEASE DONT HIT ME WITH YOUR CAR umbrella, and with all the flashing lights on the canopy and the flashlight in the handle, this was the perfect fit. I was a bit worried about the build quality for the price (expecially the plastic skeleton), but other than the on button for the lights migrating a bit, this inexpensive and awesomely gaudy spectacle of a rain deterrent has been fantastic! Its withstood a pretty good amount of use, some general abuse, and a lot of foul weather and still works perfectly. I will be getting these as gifts for friends in the future.
