I straight up love these bars! Between these bars, PNW loam thick grips, and a 40mm Range Stem, I no longer get numb fingers like I did from my stock setup. More control and just overall feel way more comfortable on my bike (Trek Fuel EX 8). Good luck on your search! Get out and shred!

The Range handlebars improve your riding position, improved rise and sweep rather than the wide and almost straight bars that come stock on a lot of bikes. Easy to cut down with pipe cutters if needed. Looks great, works better.

PNW handlebars are of excellent quality and look great. Would recommend them to anyone who are looking for some new handlebars.

Not a good idea to put glossy paint in places where clamps are mounted, it got cracked and chipped away in a few places right after installation.

A number of years ago I trimmed the bars on my Giant Anthem to about 710mm. For my style of XC this seemed to work for racing and general riding. However, as we all know, bar widths have gone up, not down and most bars come 780-800mm long/wide. The consensus for XC these days seems to be around 780, though there are many examples of notable riders going narrower or wider. I now ride a mix of trail, XC and DH with a fair amount of technical up and down riding and decided it was time to get in step with the current trends, so I cut these down to 780mm. My Anthem aluminum bars were fine otherwise, though a bit stiff. I prefer the peace of mind of aluminum over carbon in bars and stems, though I have ridden both and carbon can give a pretty nice ride. These bars are a tad lighter than the OEM Anthem bars and feel a tad more compliant without being springy or loosing trail-feel. After about 6 2+ hour rides so far, hand/arm fatigue seems less, but its hard to really judge. Im sure a [significantly more expensive] carbon bar would perform better, but I am very happy with these bars. I highly recommend these bars if you are looking for a value priced but performance oriented set in aluminum

Used this to replace a 15mm rise and it’s much more comfortable riding now. I’m 5’9” and this bar is great. Cut it down to 780mm and it’s perfect.

Every time I buy a new mountain bike (this is more frequent than I care to admit) I purchase a new Range bar for it. The range bar is the best alloy bar I’ve ever owned. I would recommend the 31.8 bar to save weight (yes, I know it’s a very small amount) and for a little more compliance. The 31.8 alloy bar almost feels like a carbon bar. It does well at vibration damping. It’s got a slick design, and the perfect geometry. Get this bar and never look back.
