My embroidery machines want an 8G or smaller flash drive to transfer embroidery designs from my laptop to my machine. These smaller capacity flash drives are hard to find in the stores at a reasonable price. I was very happy to find them on the internet on Prime Day.

Love them and what a price! We used four of them for loading pictures for our Canadian family members.

These work ok, so long as you do not touch them or move anything, the USB connector is of low quality so you need to e very careful not to break them

I received one drive that was VERY slow at copying files. I threw it away.

All of them worked

These will work perfectly for transferring embroidery designs onto my embroider sewing machine. I cant wait to use them.

If you by accident try to purchase those to put embroidery designs for your BERNINA embroidery machine.... dont buy it. For some reason, half of them are not read by the machine.

I dont give these 5 stars as the protection arm is poorly and cheaply designed, particularly unnecessarily large and clumsy. But really what I care about is the drive itself, which is hard to screw up, and these are just fine in that regard. Dont be surprised that your computer will tell you that the storage on these is about 9% less than advertised. That is not unusual and relates to the different ways that a gigabyte is defined. Technically in the eyes of your computer and other devices, a GB is 1024MB or 1,073,741,824 bytes Companies that sell thumb drives routinely use a decimal system definition of GB, or 1,000,000,000 bytes. So there is a drop of about 73MB of space per GB. If you got the 16 GB thumb drives as I did, thats a loss of 1.2 GB right there, and then some minor space is sacrificed to a cache, so your 16 GB drive really only has 14.6 GB of storage in the eyes of your devices.
