Greater than one weekMy kid saw this at a sporting good store (for alot of money) and wanted it. I decided to buy it on amazon for less then half the price. Works well. The spikes are hard-ish, not too rubbery, not too bendable. Its possible they could break off with a bad enough fall, but that has not happened. The helmet has been dropped and skidded across garage (a few times), but has sustained no major damage to it or the spikes. Hes doesnt mind wearing it at all (because its cool), so that makes me happy.
