Greater than one weekWe bought this so my young boys could learn how to play baseball and not have to keep chasing 1 ball down after every hit. The balls held up well all season and some have even survived my puppy chewing on them. They feel softer than normal baseballs, but still are solid enough that they will hurt some if you get hit with one and youre not ready for it.

> 3 dayThese balls are good for batting practice because they don’t have as much exit velocity as a standard ball, so they are safer if you don’t have a pitching screen. They also are not ruined by wet grass. They can lose shape a little if balls are crushed, but that is ok for BP.

> 3 dayRawlings makes great baseball equipment. I have used there baseball products for over 30 years. Their baseballs are the best which is way they are used in the MLB.

> 3 dayWell I guess I was confused as to what I was ordering, because buying 2 dozen in a bucket (this product) is not the same as buying the 1 dozen. The one dozen is actually leather baseballs, and this product is the synthetic (plastic) covered ball. I should have paid more attention to what product I was ordering, so for what I got I guess that this is actually a fair price and quality. But for what I THOUGHT I was getting, this is no where near. I am a high school baseball coach so I am looking at getting balls for cage work and field/game use. I am looking to buy them in bulk so I am always shopping for the best price. Since these balls were the cheapest I instinctively went for these without looking at all the details. The silver lining is that I only ordered this one bucket and I can still use these for soft-toss and tee work, so not a total loss. Again, this was my fault, but just know that this bucket of 2 dozen balls ARE NOT REAL BASEBALLS (leather), they are plastic.
