This is kind of a lousy design, the ears that are intended to provide friction to prevent the sender from rising up are pretty fragile, but having a couple of spares means that the unit will still function when the mount does break (and it will)

Perfect replacement fir your Raymarine transducer Mount.

Be very careful that your transducer does not come in contact with ANYTHING that could place any pressure on the main support bracket that is mounted to your transom. The weakest area of this bracket is circular ends where the mounting bolt connects the transducer to the mounting bracket. But it is probably much better the transom mount breaks before the Transducer.

I like the ratchet mechanism as the transducer can be repositioned after it hits something. But if you lose the pivot bolt hardware you have to buy a whole new unit. Does anyone know where I can buy just the hardware?

Not sure why you this being a top product and have a plastic transducer bracket. Which has been replaced to times bc they break easily. 2nd time I replaced it had it loose where I had to adjust it by hand after driving my boat to fishing locations. Still cracked. The manufacturer doesnt not have stainless steel brackets. Good luck
