Good mat, but it was too long for my desk, so I returned it. I got the Razer Firefly V2 which is also a good mat that fits my desk.

It lays flat for me, but only after a week of owning it - the RGB lighting has seriously dimmed out on half the mouse pad. My red RGB color setting looks pink on one half of the mat and red on the other half. It looks weird and it’s not because of Synapse - I have all devices set to the same color. Ruins the overall look of everything. Furthermore, certain RGB settings just won’t work with the mouse pad. It only works with static colors. Going to return it and try another. For a $50 mouse pad I’d expect it to work perfectly out of the box and last years. Some Razer products just aren’t high quality.

I’ve had this mousepad for almost a year now and finally decided I’ve had enough time with it to make a review. Overall it’s a fairly good mousepad with a few glaring issues that I hope they address in a V2. The cloth surface feels phenomenal with a mouse and has a good glide, while also gripping your keyboard well. But the special part about this pad is it’s RGB, which needs some work. It only has one lighting zone because of the piping along the pad to allow it to roll up, which is fine just not overly impressive or bright. However the piping on mine has had a big issue with scratching, without me even beating it up too much. The coating on the pipe can scratch off and this leads to inconsistent hot spots in the LEDs, which you can see in the picture. After a while these really stack up and make the pad look rather ugly, which has been my biggest gripe with this product. The only other issue I have is that the lacing around the RGB pipe can rub your wrists harshly and it can get pretty uncomfortable.

The mousepad has a nice texture to it and your mouse will slide very easily, yet not too easily. The lighting around it is very nice, and makes your setup look 2x better. The only thing I will say is if you are gaming on this regularly, and I found it doesnt really bother me but it is an annoyance sometimes is the stitching on the outside edge sometimes bothers your mouse hand, other than that it is a very nice mousepad for gaming & looks.

It is a good rgb mouse pad with good size and feels good with every mouse I have put on it. The light strip around the edge is bright enough for me and easy to adjust.
