Light mouse with nice buttons on it great clicks to it that activate very fast. One of the best wired mice you can still buy and Razer synapse makes it 10 times better with ease of use.

Alright, I bought this because I was (and still am) planning on buying the Viper Ultimate and this was my trial run with the mouse. I can say without a doubt that this mouse lives up to all the hype, even on my small ass desk and my crappy ass monitor. Its not without its faults, as sometimes I feel like Im not getting the clicks on the side mouse buttons, but thats fixed on the Viper Ultimate (if Im not mistaken). So, if youre like me and want the Ultimate, I would say get this for a trial run before spending the $100+ on the Viper Ultimate. However, if youre not like me and just want a good mouse, this will do you WONDERS. Though I do suggest getting the 8K variation, it might not be a huge difference but its always good to have that reassurance.

Pros: Nice software Con: I bought this mouse for 1 purpose, to increase butterfly performance in Gunz the Duel, although the button is accurate with Optical LK button switch, the clicking performance is delayed compare to my previous $10 mouse from amazon due to the button itself, its just a slower button compare to my previous mouse, the click is not as rapid as my $10 mouse. I was under the impression that with Optical LK, it would be faster but thats not the case for this mouse due to button mechanics. Overall: If you play typical FPS or MMO, this mouse should be alright. But if you need rapid spamming clicking performance in gaming, this is not the best mouse due to the button construction, I dont think its the Optical LK because my LK Red keyboard is fine, its the button on this mouse thats giving the delays, not the LK Optical part but the material and the construction of the button that causes the delay.

The shape is good for my hand but the side buttons are a little hard to hit at times and the build quality is just ok, main buttons feel a little more hollow and less crisp then other mice I have tried which I dont really like but the better shape is worth it for me

I’ve gone through about 12 different mice in search of the perfect one. I have a really good feeling this might be the one I stick with for a while. There’s a lot of things to love about this mouse. Lightweight, the shape feels great, the sensor is top tier and no DPI button on the top is a HUGE plus for me. I play a lot of FPS games and it really irritates me when I accidentally hit the DPI shift and my sensitivity gets all out of whack. I honestly have never played so well with a new mouse right off the bat. Well worth the buy!

In my opinion, its overpriced. I could see this mouse costing at least $10 less simply because the material on the palm section of the mouse is peeling off. It is as if it wasnt layered evenly. Its not too bad and is only noticeable when the light catches it at an angle. The clicking though...wow it feels great to click, I never thought I could enjoy clicking so much.

Over the past 18 years or so I have had: Copperhead 2x Lachesis 2x Death Adder BF3 Edition Imperator Taipan Black Widow Black Widow Chroma This one just doesnt seem to have the same quality. Feels cheap whereas other Razer products have had a premium feel and build to them. It appears the accountants and greed finally won and Razer is going down the same path as every other company selling their reputation for a few more profit dollars than last quarter. Next time around I will be trying another brand.

Ambidextrous support is great already, but having it plug and play across all three OSs (Windows 10 Pro, Fedora 33, FreeBSD) is welcome. I dont need the software for this mouse on any system, I simply plug it in and it works. Well at that. Razer. Stop. Putting. Auto-install. Software. Stupidity. In. Windows. If I want the software, I will download it or clone it from git. Do. Not. Install. Software. Automatically. These processes and methods of software utility are unacceptable. If you want a mouse with plug and play operation without relying on Razers stupid software, this is a great buy. Beware: Razers software will automatically start installing once you plug in your device on Windows. My Razer Ornata Chroma does this, too, but these are two phenomenal devices minus that stupidity from Razer. I thought the buttons were a little too high at first, but they feel more natural now. I moved to this mouse from the Logi G502 SE. It had a double-click issue that made it completely unuseable. I did enjoy it, but it got to be a burden. And this replacement is a godsend. I am glad it broke, or I wouldnt have this amazing device. Also, when I switch to left-handed the buttons arent as awkward to operate either. It does take some adjusting since I am right-handed, but once it clicks (no pun intended), it is natural. Razer. Just stop. No one wants this stupidity.

This is an interesting mouse. Idk what Ibwas really expecting when I ordered it. I really like trying different types of mice and currently own a good deal of the more popular mice. The Logitech G305, 502, steelseries Rival 500, 600. Evga Torx carbon, Razer Basilisk, Deathadder and now the Viper. Corsair M65 elite and an Alienware AW558 that came with a monitor I bought. All have their plus and minus, but until I recieved the Viper I was using the Deathadder. The Viper is a pretty small mouse. I was surprised how thin and short it actually was. I have somewhat small hands so it doesnt bother me. Its ambidextrous, but feels surprisingly comfortable in the hand. It almost feels like its not made for either hand in a way. Its great how they managed that. The left and right click feel very satisfying, almost like a deathadder, but not quite as light, closer to the deathadder than any other mice I own though. The side buttons are pretty close to flush, but still has that razer satisfying click. I think Razer has the best buttons of any mice Ive used and thats no different here. The buttons are small, but its a small mouse so... the cord is AMAZING for a stock cable and easily the best cable of any mice Ive used to date. It almost feels like a shoelace. A quality show place that is somewhat stretchy. I havent had time to use the mouse over a long period of time, well, because it just came out, but I have no problem saying its well built and should hold up nicely. Its a bit on the expensive side. If you have a little rodent you like using now then I would stick with what you have until you find this on sale or a warehouse deal. Its apsolutely worth picking up, especially if youre already in the market. I personally dnt find how light it is to make a difference, I think thats all marketing garbage and the market has just swung atm to wanting lighter mice. You would have to be one weak wrister fella for 20 grams or so to make a difference. Doubly so for thinking you can move a 60 gram mice faster than an 80 gram mouse, but hey, if you do have wrist issues then you should be looking for anyway to game without pain or the least amount of strain on your wrist possible. I would say its good for that. Overall, Im pleased. Its something different and fits good in my palm. Might be a little small for palm grip if you have meat hooks for hands, but Id say its great for fingertip or claw grip anyway. Use Amazons return policy to your advantage!

It was expected when I purchased the mouse, but it is a little small for my hands forcing a partial claw grip. Considering the quality of this mouse (aside from the issue with button springs some have had), they should offer an array of sizes as it will likely be a popular model. Pros: Nearly perfect mouse. Cons: slightly overpriced, only two sizes (mini and regular), annoying rgb lighting fad (am I paying extra for this s***?), sharp (nearly) 90 degree edges on the skates probably scrapes mouse pad a little(not perceptible during use), no spare skates included. If Im paying $60+ for a mouse it might as well include spare skates. Also, if the springs wearing out isnt a unit/product defect to be corrected, they should probably try to make the springs easily accessed for replacement/repair. Looks like a 10 minute minimum repair time which is a rather annoying interruption. Good job, Razer. Make it a great one by offering custom sizes.
