> 3 dayIm not exactly sure why it was a bit more expensive but she swears its so much nicer than her old one. Ill take her word for it. The blue is very pretty and neutral enough that she loved the color. My only complaint is my 3 year old son pulled on the handle and actually broke it. Seems like it should be a bit more sturdy than that, since hes 3. Anyhow, its a great scooter.

> 3 dayI bought this at the beginning of my freshman year of college so that I would be able to get around campus quickly and easily, and that was a great decision. I can go 3-4x as fast as walking (think fast run/sprint) with only moderate effort, turning a 7-8 minute walk into a 2 minute scoot. And if it was raining/snowing outside, I could fold it up and bring it in the building for safe keeping. I can also store it in my room and not have to worry about bike locks or storage space. Basically perfect for the simplistic college student. I have 2 issues though. The first is the stupid wheelie bar. I dont know why they put it on there (you can do wheelies just fine without it), but it obstructs your ability to use the break and is cumbersome and dangerous. I took mine off almost immediately, but the problem is that it was on axle with the back wheel, so I had to find some washers to keep the back wheel from wobbling around with the added space and coming off of its bearings. The second is that the folding/latch mechanism is exposed to the outside and is prone to rusting. I scooted down gritted/salted sidewalks a couple of times during the winter, making the mechanism rusty and harder to operate. Admittedly, this is my fault, but I wish they didnt make it out of steel and leave it so exposed.
