23-11-2024If there is a delay to the shipping, it is worth waiting it out. Although I was originally quoted 1-2 months it showed up in a week which is always a plus. I have the black case which, like others have mentioned, does have a smell to it. It does not bother me and I expect it to dissipate over time. I do have to press my nose on the case to smell it so, I do not consider that to be much of an issue as I will likely never be doing that again. The case itself is ascetically pleasing and subtle. Dead center you have the Nintendo Switch logo along with one on the pull tab. The zipper is red and white which seems unimportant but I appreciate the attention to detail. The texture on the case itself makes it feel a little more rugged. The handle at the top I wish was slightly stiffer but I will seldom be holding it like a briefcase. When you open the case you have a zippered pouch that can hold a charger, headphones, or the Joy-Con attachments. Underneath the pouch is screen friendly padding that should protect the display. The pouch actually holds the device in place as well so when you unzip the case it will reduce the chances of it falling out. The area for the Switch has the right amount of room as it will not slide around but also does not put any unnecessary pressure on the device. There are even small cutouts for the rear triggers so that they will stay in there resting position. The two game card cases are nice and will be more useful once I build my game library. Below the two cutouts for the game cards is a long horizontal cutout for... headphones? Some may complain that it does not hold a power cable but if it did the size of the case would increase too much for me to have purchased this in the first place.

> 3 dayIts a rough shell, your switch will be nice n cozy. Have yet to drop or throw it at someone so I cant testify to how well the switch or the person would hold up, respectively. The two cartridge/SD card holders are a nice addition, although the game cartridges dont lock it place which is a minor gripe. If you open it with slightly too much force they could go flying. And did. Pro tip the screen cover works as a stand as well for when your arms or neck inevitably weaken after extended gaming sessions. Compact and can easily fit in a bookbag or carry on.

Greater than one weekGreat protection, but the distribution of the space its a little confusing. There are some slots that seem to be for the joy con straps, but they dont fit. The game card slots fall off all the time and there is no space for the charger. These are minor complaints though. The shell is really hard and will protect your console for years

> 3 dayIt does what you think it does and it does it just fine. If you use this for light use it will last years but if you are a kid that is constantly putting it in and out you might want to look somewhere else.

> 3 dayThe best Nintendo Switch case out there. Case is made from a hard, durable, and quality material. Zipper feel very sturdy and doesnt snag on anything. The handle is rubberized to provide a nice grip on the case. Inside the case, you will find the switch cutout to be perfect. The console does not seem to move around at all in transit. There are two little rectangular cutouts with matching plastic cases to put additional switch games in. Again, while in transit, these cartridge cases do not move around. Lastly, the case is complemented with a fold-down mesh pocket to place cords in. This material is very soft, and will not scratch your screen. tldr; get this case, it is high quality

Greater than one weekFits everything very snugly! Feels very sturdy and everything on the inside is nice and soft so it doesnt scuff the system up. It DOES have a weird smell to it, as most of the lower reviews say, but simply just leave it open for a while. It really wasnt that bad and I only notice it if I stick my nose on the fabric. Perfect little case to carry the Switch on the go to keep it protected!

> 3 dayIt looks great. It feels sturdy enough to make me confident I wont break my Switch taking it anywhere in this case. The smell seems to be most peoples biggest criticism of this case, but given the complaints Id read about its odor, I dont think it lives up to that kind of negative hype. Its true the case has an unpleasant chemical scent, but it isnt that noticeable unless you want to press your nose against it.

> 3 dayI bought this for my son, so that he can have a smaller carry on for his switch. It carries a total of 8 cartridge games, and fits the standard size Nintendo Switch in the case. It is lined, so in case it gets dropped (which will happen with a 7 year old) then Im not too worried cause the case is sturdy. I also like that it has an adjustable Velcro stand to place the Switch on, if you want to play on the screen; its also a lot sturdier than the flimsy stand on the back of a Switch. It doesnt give a lot in terms of carrying extras, like joy cons or even the portables, but Id still recommend if you just wanna travel light with your gaming.
