Reading Blaster Ages 9 - 12 (Jewel Case)

I choose this CD because it works. Children love the many activities which are presented in game like mode. It proves that reading can be FUN. Children can work independently and there is quick feedback as to progress and areas of concern. Ages 7-12

According to my eight year old this was the best game ever! He loved playing it and it was educational. It was great!

My 9 year-old absolutely loves this game, she was excited about it being a mystery and kind of ghoulish. She played for over an hour and was fully immersed in the game. The bad part is that the disc has to remain in the computer for the game to run and the game will not work on Vista 64-bit windows, but it works just fine on the 32-bit version.

First of all, I would like to stress that plot matters a lot to me. If it doesnt matter so much to your child, you can disregard some of my review.

We had this game for a few years before, but it got formatted off our computer. My daughter asked me to get it again. She loves it!

Game is very frustrating for my child some of the activities are almost impossible to do even when you know what to do. Definitely a disappointment/

Played this classic when I was much younger and still have fond memories of it. It likely will NOT work with Windows Ten. However, its fairly simple to rig a VirtualBox to run Windows XP or Windows 98.

I remember playing this game when I was a kid and I absolutely LOVED it!!! I love the fact that it has an actual story line and its not just mindlessly having you figure out puzzles for no reason. I was just thinking about this game the other day and how I still wanted to play it again even though Im now well past the age limit! It may not be new, but I 100% recommend this game!

English class made more sense due to this game, and its still my favorite game to play as an adult. I highly recommend this to parents and teachers who want their kids to understand the complications of English.
