This mold does exactly what you would think it does. The design in my soaps is very pretty. I havent tried using a different color to put on just the actual design or part of it. I think that would be difficult as the designs don t have a raised run around any parts of them in the mold, but the designs make the bars a step up from just the plain molds.

I had never made soap before and it was so easy. I made for a wedding favor and was very pleased. The reason it says to spray with alcohol is it rids soap of little bubbles, so spray it on the mold before pouring and on top of the soap after pouring into the mold.

All my friends are raving over these designs asking me when I am going to start selling them!! The details are undisturbed when removing the soap.. so gorgeous!

Fantastic size for bars of soap . 4 ozs. Bars are bigger than store bought bars.

These are exactly what I wanted. I have already made a batch of melt and pour oatmeal honey almond soap with them. The bars were easy to remove. I don’t see the design as well as I would have liked too but I think it’s because of the oatmeal and tea particles. The design would work best with a plain soap. That said, I am going to make another batch of oatmeal soap with these molds anyway. I love them!
