Red Devil 0405 Duraguard Kitchen & Bath Siliconized Acrylic Caulk, 5.5 oz, White

Product was either too dry straight out of the package or begins drying too quickly. By the time I started using the silicone smoothing tool (~2 minutes after application) after laying a bead down, the caulking was already curing and the surface skin of the bead would clump or get pulled away from the surface by the smoothing tool. I was only laying down one line at a time as well, and not the whole tub, so it wasnt like I was coming back to the first bead 15 min. later to do the finishing. Using painters tape didnt work either. It will begin drying before you can tear the tape off leaving jagged edges. Was able to salvage the project by using a wet finger but feel like that step shouldnt be necessary if the caulk didnt dry so fast.

Easy to use. Dont need caulking gun. If you dont use it all at once it becomes hard to sqeeze and gets dried out. I pour water into the top and squeeze the tube and mix it around. Makes it soft enough to do a small job or a touch-up before you throw it away.

I used this to caulk around my bathtub and waited 72 hours to use the shower per the direction and it immediately cracked. And yes, I removed all the old caulking and cleaned it thoroughly. Furthermore, it was completely dry before the application of this product.

I like that you dont need a caulking gun to use it. I used it to seal my toilet on the bottom.

This silicone is easy to apply and use but it tends to get a bit yellow in the first few weeks unless you clean it with bleach.

The product quality seems quite good, but tube dispensing somewhat difficult to use for even flow.

Just because of the misleading of color, be careful if you want clear one, do not buy. Its white.

Easy to use for the easy projects and if you don’t need a bigger amount of caulk.

Used it for my kitchen sink was my first time ever using and it was easy to dispense and I did a great job for my first time. Great product to work with.
