The block of rouge is tiny. I was expecting it to be much bigger. It works fine, though.

I used this jewelers rouge to upgrade the polish on my long-forgotten Buck knife. The original case disintegrated 20 years ago and the knife has been knocking around tool boxes ever since. Recently, I found it and decided to make the brass look like brass again. I had some coarse white polishing compound that at least, made it recognizable as brass. Then I bought this jewelers rouge and gave the knife another go-over. Nice difference! the brass is not only shinier, but has a quality to its shine I dont recall it having before. I used this jeweler’s rouge to remove the lacquer (BP) finish on Dirilyte flatware. I used both a dremel rotary tool and a bench buffer with the product. The jeweler’s rouge proved to be more effective than any other method I tried to remove the lacquer. My only complaint is that I was only ably to buff/polish 25 flatware pieces with one bar of the product.

Was using this to polish steel, so might not have been idea for that purpose.

Finally got a chance to use this, works great, helps keep my leather tools sharp.

I found it to be a great product easy to use and produced a great result ! I used it for Jewlery .

The rouge does not rub onto leather strop very well, it seems a little dry and will clump when I apply to the leather it can leave some clumps but it will work.

The item arrived quickly, and the rouge worked effectively. I bought it for my father to clean his sunglasses and he was impressed with the quality. I would buy this again.
