1. The 3 AA batteries dont last very long. After about a week, the lights grew noticeably dimmer! This means it will take a lot of batteries to run these lights year-round, which was my intention. Very disappointed about that. 2. There are about 6 functions on the control, but I ended up only wanting to use the stay on all the time function, because the various flashing modes were just not pleasing. I wanted a TWINKLE function, like what fireflies look like! NOT an unsettling rhythmic pulsating flash. None of the functions actually twinkle slowly. It ends up looking like its too busy and just is not aesthetically pleasing, so you just have to leave them on. None of the other functions is acceptable. 3. The product information does not say so, but the lights go off automatically after about 6 hours. Then they apparently come back on after about 6 (?) more hours (Im still trying to assess what the pattern is, but its not apparent from the instructions that the lights do this. I would NOT purchase this product again, for the above reasons.

These are great lights! The battery last long and there are so many different settings you can choose from. I have 2 sets on my 6ft tree and it looks so good and well lit!

THESE BATTERY OPERATED LIGHTS ARE WONDERFUL!!! JUST PUT IN THE 3 BATTERIES AND THE LIGHTS WORK PERFECTLY. THEY AUTOMATIC TURN OFF IN THE NIGHT, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO OUT AT 3:00AM TO TURN THEM OFF! THEY ARE VERY WELL MADE, AND OF FINE QUALITY. I AM GOING TO BUY MORE. THEY WILL MAKE EXCELLENT CHRISTMAS STUFFERS.

The battery on these lasts super long. I wrapped them around the railings outside and they lasted the whole winter with just putting in batteries once. However it did not come with a remote control.

Kids love looks fantastic batteries life, for indoor use all day use batteries life the most 2-3day till completely goes out yeah Im tired of switching batteries. Ill purchase outlets power next time

SEE THE HEADLINE Too upset to repeat it. Needless to say, I felt as though I needed to get him replacements, under the circumstances. But he said no. So I thought it was best to just pass the complaint on to this site. Sad, though, because they looked really good on his small fir trees in the yard. OH WELL

Easy to set up and several light functions

One of the strings of light is very bright, the other isn’t bright at all! Brand new batteries were used in both. Since I have them displayed next to each other, it’s obvious one isn’t as bright as the other, but the difference wasn’t easy to see in the sunlight when installed them for our Halloween decorations. Now that they are installed, it would be too much work to take them down to return.

I was hoping the bulbs would be bigger but that was an error in judgment. However, they weren’t bright and barely visible from the yard. Wish I would’ve returned them.
