Bought for use with my old Xbox 360 I originally purchased in 2006 and it worked beautifully to supply necessary power to kinect

Nothing much to say here. Its an adapter and it does exactly what I want it to do. I use it with my pc in my room so the cable is more than long enough for my needs.

Xbox 360 kinect will not be recognized by microsofts 3d scan app and will not use the latest version the driver. If this doesnt work it is likely your driver is wrong. Also check your usb port and try different ports.

Useful for connecting Kinect to PC, but dont expect a simple plug and play experience, the software needed is geared more towards developers not consumers/users.
