This is the first ‘gaming keyboard’ I’ve had and it is so cool! I love the programmable key functions. I also love how I can change the colors and patterns easily. It’s just fancy enough without being too fussy! The keys feel smooth and easy and are pretty quiet. Overall great look, great feel!

This product worked great for the first few days. The keys were much quieter than my previous mechanical keyboard which is what I was hoping for. The RGB options are great and it looks really nice overall. The only issue is that my spacebar has started making a spring-y noise whenever its hit. This is fine while wearing headphones, but its very loud otherwise. Ill see if I can set the spring again to improve the issue, but otherwise this is disappointing after only a few days.

Lemme just say this first off, pretty nice keyboard for the amount youre spending here, but if you have some more cash I recommend you opt for something more. Pros: Nice design, Keys are well spaced and the backlight is great at the amount of customization it offers with options to cycle through colors or have it locked to one. Keys have a soft texture on top and let a nice amount of light through. Very quiet to Silent, a Pro if youre looking for that, I was not. Cons: The additional buttons on the top are borderline useless, the power button scares me as it turns my computer right off without any sort of prompt, useful if youre looking for that functionality, Im personally not. If I were to design this Keyboard the multimedia buttons would be up there instead of being mapped to FN + F1-F12 as Id much rather have a dedicated button for changing volume then I would moving forward and back between pages on my browser. Id also swap the FN key and the Windows Key around as 1 is in the clearly more superior place even though its a worse key, theres a button combo to disable the windows key so it doesnt interfere with gaming but if those 2 buttons were swapped around that wouldnt be a problem at all. The Logo at the top does not change color with everything else, small pet peeve but it does disturb the aesthetics of the keyboard. The space bar is notably more squishy then all other keys with almost no audible click when pressed elminating any kind of satisfaction you could get from pressing it at the benefit of making the keyboard silent, bummer for me, winner for others. Final Thoughts: A lot of the issues mentioned here may be more of a case of personal preference then anything, for all I know that power button may be a godsend for someone out there, but for me personally speaking as a gamer this Keyboard struggles a lot in both convenience and practical uses, admittedly most of the issues I mentioned could be solved with the use a 3rd party program to remap the keys, but more preferably if RedDragon themselves included some software to reprogram the keys. The only major issue here Id say thats unacceptable is how very squishy the Spacebar is and how moderately squishy everything else is only giving a click if pushed down moderately hard and in the case of the spacebar no click at all removing a lot of the tactile feedback thats so crucial in the overall feel, a deal breaker for some, but for the amount I spent on it I cant really complain.

For the price I got it at ($23.99), this is possibly the best you can get. Its comfortable, reacts well, and is very durable. Ive had it for about two years now and am only upgrading because I got a premium keyboard for my birthday.

I was about to rate it 4 stars, but then realized I was comparing it my long-used, Razer Lycosa. And thats not really fair, is it. So my Razer keys started sticking and WSAD was long gone. It was time for something new. But I had received the Razer as a gift from and exs movie production swag and, being a cheapskate, I wasnt about to spend over $50 on a keyboard. So I started poking around. I looked at my work rewards program for a free keyboard but the reviews for those products werent good. This product had decent reviews so I figured I give it a shot. Really my only complaint is that its really light and kind of cheap feeling. But is that really a valid complaint? Am I just used to the larger and lunkier Lycosa?. The keys handle well and are pretty quiet on the Dragon. Theres a wide(r) variety of color options on the RGB. I havent had a chance to play much online games, where response time really matters, but I havent noticed any issues in Kenshi where I mash the pause button a lot. In conclusion, theres really no legit reason for me to rate this thing less than 5 stars. Its a good cheap little keyboard. EDIT: After about a year of use the LEDs started becoming discolored. I kept everything on a bright, white preset and the center of the keyboard started turning pink. So I reduced the score to 3 stars.

Got this to have a lit KB without spending a lot of money. The RGB is a bonus and although Im not a huge fan of it, I do like the effect because its not overpowering and the user has a good bit of control of the lighting effects. Then too, it is after all that, a decent keyboard for typing and the very light gaming I do

Overall the keyboard delivered what was to be expected, a decent economical keyboard. All of the keys have a slight rubberized grip to my surprise that I like very much and the keys themselves are very quiet, so if you are looking for a mechanical keyboard then this keyboard is not for you. the basic colors for the backlit keyboard were nice, but i wish the colors to the num lock indicators would change with the others (they just stay red). first picking it up i noticed it was lighter than I expected as well, it doesnt bother me but it did come to my attention. In the end if you are looking for a decent gaming keyboard and dont want to spend $100+ on one, then get this keyboard.

I really like this keyboard. The colors are nice & bright, but the variety of how to display the colors is my favorite. No regrets about buying this at all!!!
