Greater than one weekI haven’t been using this mouse for very long yet, but I’m extremely happy with it. After a horrible experience with a similarly priced “wireless gaming” mouse, I went with this one which turned out to be a great choice. It fits nicely in my hand, feels great to move around, and I love how responsive it is. My only gripe is that the driver software is only for Windows. I was able to get it working in Linux (Mint OS) through running Windows XP in a virtual machine. After opening the driver software in XP once, after configuring settings I was able to close out the VM with the settings carrying back over to Linux. So not a huge deal, but harder than it should’ve been. That being said, 99% of people do not use Linux so unless you do, the above shouldn’t affect you. And even if you do use Linux, I still wholeheartedly recommend this product if you’re willing to do a few extra steps for the driver software. All in all a fantastic mouse, and it can’t be beat at such a low price.

> 3 dayI love the shape of this mouse will be hard to use a cheap one now. The buttons all feel fantastic. Clicking is satisfying. Dpi setting are good. The colors are pretty customizable, but the manual doesnt even mention what the profiles are or how to customize colors. Profiles are presets, (can change pace and default colors for some modes) normally separated by main colors. To customize you need to download an app from the reddragon site ( this one is the M602 - RGB driver)

> 3 dayUp until now, this mouse has been great. I mean that more as in... it works as expected. Pros: - Works as advertised - Fairly precise - Color options are nice Cons: - Middle click died after less than a year of use - Build quality feels cheap - Color options button is on top, too close to the palm rest My biggest annoyance up until now was accidentally changing the colors all the time because the buttons are too close to where your hand rests. No real reason they couldnt have gone on the bottom near the DPI button. Who needs quick access to color options anyway?

> 3 dayI was skeptical at first about getting this mouse since it was about $20 when I got it. I was pleasantly surprised at how it performed. If youre looking for a cheap reliable mouse then this is it. Its light, responsive, and the quick dpi switch along with being able to set a color profile to the pattern is nice. This does come with some cons though. In order to program anything you have to go to red dragons website and download the software (easy). The thing is though after I downloaded it and attempted to map certain buttons it didnt save or do anything. I then also tried to turn off the other dpi options so I only have to switch between two and that did nothing, it still cycled between all 5 profiles. Another con is that the color profiles are very limiting. While this does say rgb there are only 3 color profiles that cycle through colors at different rates. The other 3 profiles are just different ways for the mouse to display a red color. I would have given this 5 stars if the software actually worked but that was just a minor inconvenience honestly. All in all this mouse was an amazing mouse and now that I am upgrading to a better mouse I dont have to worry because I will have an excellent replacement incase anything goes wrong with my new mouse.

> 3 dayI bought this product a couple of months ago, I was using the stock mouse given to me by the computer I bought. This mouse has a really good feel, and my finger doesnt drag along my mousepad. Lets you customize DPI and colors!

> 3 day(DISCLAIMER: I WAS NOT PAID OR ENCOURAGED TO WRITE THIS REVIEW | THESE ARE MY TRUE THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT THIS BRAND AND PRODUCT!!!) If youre buying as new PC gamer, or as long term gamer just wanting some fresh gear, know that REDRAGON is as good as Logitech, Corsair, Steel Series, Razer, ETC. Do not hesitate to buy from them! All of there products have great build quality, engaging and satisfying clicks and tactile bumps, pure RGB with an assortment of mesmerizing settings, and highly customizable universal hardware! Personally, I have owned this mouse, the GRIFFIN M602 and and YAMA K550 with a hardtop RGB mousepad all by REDGRAGON, for about 2 years now. While I personally have used and tried an assortment of every other gaming brand! REDRAGON IS AMONG THE GREATS! AS GREAT AS THE DAY I GOT IT!!! All the products have been proved to have the longevity of a high tier gaming brand!!! Clicks and Bumps and everything all still strong and working as good as ever. This mouse has by far the best click I have ever felt. Logitech is known for its clicks and simple designs (in my opinion and some around me). And this click blows the doors off of every mouse Ive touched!!! Ergonomically and wonderful design shape, but slightly heavy, BUT! that is the tier of mouse this is! This there larger ergonomic design! They do have other shapes and sizes! Dont forget about their weighted mice! REDRAGON hit the nail on the head flawlessly as a brand. The product execution is over the top perfect!!! From them being completely accessible through Amazon (my favorite shopping platform!) and to the names of the products the spots in the market there products fit in the style, the dragon logo and name, the packaging, the software, and everything about the brand and their products!!! They really know what theyre doing in the gaming world TRUST them! They are not over the top by any means! A truly streamlined and brilliantly marketed brand and product(s)! They are the quiet cool step cousin that people are scared to talk to because he looks so bad ass but theyre told hes a piece of shit, and then they find out hes just as good a person as everyone else and way better than you may have thought. Great gaming feel and as well as high quality competitive tier build. REDRAGON is a very well thought out brand.

> 3 dayFirst off, for the price, this is a 5-star product across the board. I have purchased plenty of $50 mice and they just didnt last. The mouse buttons always gave out, and two or three years later Id be shopping for a new one. The Redragon ones are remarkably cheap in price, but are lasting great and look pretty cool. Ive previously purchased a few Centrophorus (M601), and when one got busted a few weeks back I went to order a new one and saw the Griffin (M602) for a few dollars more and decided to give it a shot. No software is needed to control the lights. Theres a list in the booklet for how many presses to access various color settings, so thats super easy and I love not needing to install more bloatware on my computer. If yours came default to the reactive setting like mine did, never fear! Theres much more soothing options. That said, it seems a little odd to have two buttons front and center for things like dpi and color. Once Ive picked my comfort setting its not something I plan to change often, and recessed buttons or perhaps interior ones would make the mouse more streamlined. The 602 has a very smooth, faintly grippy surface texture, and is far more ergonomic than the 601 with its bumpy texture. Im not completely sure which texture I prefer, but possibly the 602. I am not personally using the 602 however, my husband is, because the ergonomic shape isnt designed for someone with really small hands and becomes counterproductive at that point. My old 601 works better for me. I believe he prefers the 602, so its all working out. My only actual complaint about this mouse is that the lights inside arent 100% covered. When its being used from some angles I can see through tiny cracks next to the frosted plastic directly in and catch the glare of an uncovered LED, which was never an issue with the 601.

> 3 dayThis mouse is cute and size is comfortable for my hand. The thing i didn’t notice on pictures was that the top part of mouse is glossy or smooth. Not a bad thing but just never had this type before. The led lights work only when u move the mouse. It doesn’t light when it’s just still. I don’t mind that because too much light can also bother your eyes. Also the lights keeps switching different colors no matter what. So you can’t set it to one color. Dpi options are great, there are many options to choose from. The whole thing I said above is not bad or good review. Just small details that might help wether or not you would like it. Durability wise I will have to come back and edit this comment later. Stay tuned lol.

> 3 dayReviews on this M602 webpage are quite similar to those of lots of other Redragon mice listed by Amazon. Not all these reviews have been assigned to the correct mouse sibling, however, because of bewilderment created by their abundance and similarities among many siblings in an enormous litter. Confusion about which mouse is which is apparent even on the multiple websites Redragon itself publishes all over the world. At any rate, most reviewers agree that the company produces good mice, and that its process for obtaining the specific driver software you need for tinkering with them sucks. Thus my comments may apply to many Redragon mice, but my experience involves only the M602 Griffin. He is a cute little critter with a lot of gee-whizzy multicolored lights, which you can make perform tricks such as altering his “breathing” depth and rate. (If you set them too low I wonder if he becomes erratic from hypoxia, and then do all his lights turn blue?) He has a magnificent, truly elegant, long red and black braided tail that looks like it should belong to a mouse perched much nearer the top of the pecking (gnawing?) order. At a remarkably low price he meets my need for a precise mouse to set various instrument knobs and gauges in the glass panel instruments of my flight simulator very well. The rest of this long tale …involves his software. His box contained only my mouse himself, a Redragon decal and a useless 40-page set of “Operating Instructions” in 35 or so languages. Under “Software Instructions” it says “Users can adjust … settings through the software after downloading and installing it.” But there are no clues about where find that software. Be prepared for frustration when you begin an internet search. Mine led me down several blind alleys at places like redragonzone.com, redragon-global.com and redragon.store. Early in my journey through this maze, at redragonusa.com I spotted an M602. Its picture looked identical to my mouse and there was a link to download its driver. “That’s too easy,” I mumbled, and I was right. The link led to a file called MNEMEANLION.zip. Which proved to be a nearly complete dud. It did unzip and load into my computer, but here was no shortcut to open a GUI, and each of its three executable files did nothing useful. At least they did no harm. Further along my torturous route through the maze I discovered lurking there a total of 50 different Redragon mice and about 30 drivers. After eventually overcoming this diabolical plot to hide software on the internet I tracked down the correct M602 Griffin programming utility, at (drumroll please) redragonshop.com/pages/software. Its compressed driver file is named “m602.rar” (see screenshot of its GUI). It works, and unless it contains some undetectable malware planted there by the Chinese MSS it also does no harm. But as noted by other reviewers, moving its various sliders yields only very minor changes in some of Griffin’s behaviors. Bottom line: my rating of 4 stars would have been a lot lower had I not felt challenged by reading many previous reviews that talk about software problems but fail to reveal their solutions. I’m still euphoric from my detective work. But I sure wish that Mr. and Mrs. Redragon, who must be exempt from China’s one-litter policy, would learn about birth control, or would provide less intrepid customers with a roadmap of their maze.
