> 3 daySo the first one I got from Amazon was clearly a used return. You could tell by the condition and the shoddy repackaging. It was even missing the mouse entirely. So I did an exchange. The second one worked fine but alignment was a bit off so it didnt sit flat on my desk and would wobble... I had to prop up the upper-left corner slightly. I tried to do another exchange but Amazon wouldnt let me and would only offer a refund. I didnt bother trying to order a third and instead ordered a different brand keyboard entirely. If it hadnt had the wobble, it wouldve been fine. I wish it remembered the color setting between reboots, or had software that allowed custom per-key color selection (the keyboard clearly has the ability to address each keys RGB LED independently... itd be nice to say set WASD to be a different color than the rest of the keys). So its worth memorizing the keystrokes necessary to set it the way you want each time you boot up.

> 3 dayThe good: The price, obviously. It looks nice, feels decent enough, and the colors/lighting is really good. It doesnt feel cheap despite its price. The keyboard is quiet and both products are responsive. The bad: Both products feel very stiff. The mouse doesnt glide very well or consistently compared to the mouse I used previously, but its possible I just have to get used to the feel of it to compensate. The keyboard keys feel stiff to push down, and one of them has already gotten stuck partway down (in my case, the closed bracket key), which Ive noticed is an issue mentioned in other reviews. It still works and can be pressed down to make it properly register, but it feels ever so slightly off at a different elevation than all the other keys. Newly noticed is that certain combinations of keys dont register properly; the ctrl+shift+escape shortcut to bring up the task manager doesnt work if I try to do it with the LEFT shift and ctrl. The U key also wont register if Im holding down shift and J at the same time. There are several other combinations that dont work, which can be detrimental during a game with certain hotkeys/keybindings. The meh: The design choice is weird, but not unlikable or impossible to get used to. The mouses optical sensor makes a fairly loud, sustained beep while the mouse is being moved and for a short time afterwards, but you cant hear it with headphones on. You dont have full control over the mouses lighting as mentioned in other reviews; its entirely dependent on the CPI you choose—although after choosing one, it cycles through a seemingly random order of colors, sometimes going back to breathing your chosen cpis color only. Still havent figured that out yet. It is not, however, a dealbreaker. Functionality comes first, micromanagement of shiny colors are of secondary importance. The conclusion: As mentioned, for the price, you really cant go wrong. But keep in mind, this is still a $30 gaming keyboard & mouse combo. There will probably be problems with them that many other have had, which will also make returning it more of a hassle if not impossible if you choose to go down that road. You cant expect top quality when it comes to this stuff, but its functional and visually appealing.

> 3 dayuneven backlighting, scratched backlight patterns on keys. very cheap feeling action. works as a keyboard, only if I type slowly. NOT a good gaming KBD.

> 3 dayThe mouse and keyboard both flash in that gamer RGB way. You can stop the keyboard from flashing but its pretty hard. I just wanted it back lit with a solid color all the time. Hard to sit and play with the function key and the lighting buttons until I figured it out. You have to press on the LM# buttons multiple times to get do other things. The manual doesnt tell you that. The mouse will always flash. Unless your using it. Its a more gentle flash though so its ok. I have not figure out how to turn that off yet. Otherwise. They keyboard and mouse are great. The keys feel solid. Can be a little squeaky sometimes but that doesnt bother me. Mouse is responsive and feels nice in the hand. All in all a decent little combo.

> 3 dayIve had this keyboard/mouse for a couple weeks now. So far so good. This set is not a wireless set - I dont know if they have a wireless version. The keyboard types smoothly. Its the quietest keyboard Ive heard in a long time. The mouse is very comfortable. Since its a gaming mouse, I cant speak to the other buttons on it and how it performs for gaming. But I can say that its ergonomic and supports my whole hand. Its responsive when I play my simple Dash and Delicious Emily games. I love the colors of the keyboard and the different color modes to choose from. The mouse color breathes softly (colors change) but its nice when I need to get on the PC briefly and dont want to turn a light on - I can see the keys and mouse right nicely. If I had to pick on something, its that there isnt a keyboard key to sleep the pc (I got used to that on my last keyboard - but thats just me - this is a great set otherwise). I would highly recommend.
