> 24 hourMy husband has been so disappointed in famous brand clear tape bought for sealing our moving boxes and says that Gummed Tape Kraft Brown Paper Roll is the best as it becomes part of the box and does not tear off if the box is mishandled - as they will be when the movers come.

> 24 hourIve tried using clear post-office shipping tape, and self-adhesive fiber tape, on cardboard boxes (folded together from flats). But after a while, both will start to curl away. Did some research and learned that THIS packing tape will last the longest. Its what you see on packages you get from places like Amazon! The only minor issue is you have to wet the tape - but a sponge and a little water handles that just fine.

> 24 hourmust have gotten wet before it got to me. was stuck together and tears paper from the next layer to unroll. That paper prevents the gummed aspect of the tape to get adhesion to any packages. Might have been a fluke, but the whole roll was bad. tossed it and bought a different brand instead.

> 24 hourI use to work and manage mailings and shipping. We used this type of tape all the time. very strong we did have a machine that cut and wet the tape. We learned you use a couple DROPS of dish soap pure dish soap not the kind like dawn or heavy grease cutting. This makes the water wet the glues better on envelopes and this packing tape. We also had 2 automatic mailing machines. Using this water set up worked the best to make sure the glues would get wet and stick VS using straight water.
