Remington 32MM Blade and Adjustable Comb for the VPG6530, MB6550

It would be nice to be able to buy just the blade by itself as the blue comb part doesnt really wear out or get dull. But I was happy to know I could buy replacement parts and not buy a whole new shaver. Havent had it long enough, but Hubby says so far so good.

Kinda sux that just this blade costs more than 1/2 of what I paid for the whole trimmer... But I love this vacum trimmer

After about three years I dropped the trimmer and broke the plastic guard. On a whim, I looked to see if I could just buy the part. It cost less than $15 for the part and a new blade. It arrived in a day, they went on easy and voila, it’s like having a brand new trimmer. Can’t speak to the longevity but the first month has been great.

After much searching for a replacement blue comb guard for my trimmer, I came across this. The only thing Ive noticed by comparing this to the one getting replaced is that the newer head piece has a higher edge below the blade (probably to more effectively catch hair). However, this felt uncomfortable to me when maintaining a stubble look. So I switched the new blade and guard to the old head and its new again. I kept the newer head in the travel case with it as a just in case.

I use this trimmer as a beard trimmer. The original attachment (adjustable comb) had three teeth broken out of it. HINT: To avoid broken teeth in the adjustable comb, return it to the “zero” position for storage and travel!! The new replacement works great!

made my shaver as good as new. Love it. Will buy again in the future
