It took me a while to figure out how to attach the carry strap. Besides that, Im confident that if they ever fall again, the case will protect them. I had dropped the two remotes a few times previously, and was worried each time that they would crack upon hitting he tile floor. This cover should protect them under most circumstances.

Cant say much about long term durability. However, it fits my apple remote perfectly, and the IR does work w/ it. Happy I paid little money for what appear to be well made products.
