Greater than one weekThe belts were purchased as replacements for future use. It is quite common to cause a belt failure if the brush gets hung up on a piece of carpet or a shoestring and you do not get the vacuum turned off quick enough; When you are cleaning the house, the last thing you want to do is stop what you are doing to go to a store in the hope of buying a new belt to replace the broken one. I like having a spare belt available when needed and hope that I dont need to use it. It beats the frustration of not being able to find a replacement when you need it to finish vacuuming the house.
