I do not know if those ear cushions are the same as the ones from the original headset, because I had the ear cushions already worn off, but they feel nice and snap into place. It may not come from Sony, and it’s what scared me at first, but it seems to be the real deal. They are comfy and, as I said earlier, fit into place like they should.

Contrary to the description, this item DOES not fit Sony PS4 Gold Wireless headsets. I have had to return them to the USA, and be at home for the Amazon only contractor to pick up the headset. I have returned it and almost one month later I am still waiting on a refund from Amazon. Not recommended.
