I purchased replacement parts for my j7 Roomba. I have continually gotten a bag full error since changing to these replacement bags. I have to clear the jam, clean the filter and robot. I typically get one partial cleaning before the error returns. New vacuum (5 months old) and worked fine until I switched to these parts.

Lets get right to the point, this generic kit is ~ 2-4X less expensive than buying the Brand name based on the prices I saw on the iRobot website and Best Buys website. When comparing this generic kit to my iRobot Roomba accessories I really dont see any difference in the quality of the parts. If the prices were close, Id probably go with the Brand name even if it was a little more expensive; but with the large gap in prices, it only makes fiscal sense to go with the cheaper option.

I purchased these Roomba replacement parts for my j7+. A few months ago I bought the actual and more expensive OEM parts but unfortunately my OEM rubber brushes from irobot are already breaking down. For the price I paid for the genuine replacement parts I was very disappointed as their quality were not the same with the accessories that came with the j7+. So I decided to take a chance with these cheaper replacement parts from BYOFI To my surprise, I find theyre just as good as the OEM replacement parts. I dont anticipate any issues with the filters or vacuum bags. A little too early to tell about the longevity of the roller brushes but so far theyre working fine. Given the price with this BYOFI kit, even if the parts dont last as long as I would like I still will likely buy hem again as they seem to be better alternatives to the OEM parts than some others in this market space. This kit also came with a tiny screwdriver and brush but to be honest I likely wont have need to use them as Ill use my own tools.

These supplies are perfect for my best friends vacuum. I ordered these for her, and she is pretty pleased.

All pieces seem to be a good match. Size / shape are perfect match for everything I tried. Materials / look&feel, close enough, brushes seem a bit of a downgrade from the stock, roller design is slightly different, but they seem to work as well. Functionality/performance seems to be on par with the stock parts. Overall I found this to be a good set, and piecewise seems to be quite convenient (original parts are much more expensive)

I haven’t compared these parts to the name brand so I’m not sure if they work exactly the same, but they look the same to me and my robot vacuum continues to keep my floors cleaned even with these parts, so I would say that these cheaper replacements are worth it to me.

Value and usability of this kit is great - works as intended as an OEM alternative. As others have noted, you may need to replace filters slightly more often as they are not made of the same material as OEM. Otherwise fitment and wear seem comparable.

These 3rd party replacement parts appear to be equivalent to the OEM parts. I cant tell the difference, but there was an article on the Wirecutter web site a while back that interviewed an iRobot representative about using 3rd party filters. Later in the article it expanded upon other parts like the rollers, spinning brushes, etc. Basically, the gist of it was 3rd party filters might clog faster and need to be replaced more often (due to different paper media than OEM). iRobot expressed more concern about using 3rd party moving parts, because if they werent perfectly round or had bad bearings, they could potentially damage your robot vacuum. So...I would not use these 3rd party parts while your Roomba is under warranty or extended warranty. But after the warranty has expired, you might want to give these a try to see if they work for you and possibly save some $$$. These fit so many models, its hard to say if they will work perfectly for all. One telltale sign, apparently, is louder noise than the OEM parts, which could be an indication of improper fit. Good luck!

I have the i4 robot and these parts fit and I havent had any issues. Ive only replaced the roller and filter, so I cant review 3-point brushes. The parts are not as high quality as the original, but theyre much cheaper.

This is an excellent accessory package for my iRobot. It had everything I’ll ever need, including a little screwdriver to unscrew the brush attachment! More than worth the price.
