Perfect. Safe good for the reptile. I have sand boas & they love it Not much DUST when pouring or during usage. I still wear a mask when cleaning the sand or pouring it into the cage just incase. I used this in addition to other sand in the cage already. Perfect for adding a little nutrients to the sand & ecosystem.

Very disappointed in this sand. When our tortoise does his business, the sand DOES NOT clump together right away. The pee sits in a puddle and stays there. However, it takes HOURS for the sand to finally absorb the liquid where it can be scooped out. This means our tortoise then walks all over it, resulting in clumps of sand sticking all over his belly and his legs and feet get coated in gross sticky sand. I now have to give him a bath EVERY TIME I let him out to walk around which is at least a couple times a day. Soooo annoying!!! I THOUGHT I had purchased the white sand he previously had. That was good stuff. Unfortunately I got sent this stuff.

I use this in my substrate recipe for my Tarantulas. It works well as an additional item in the mix.

I used this as a second layer substrate on top of a sand mat layer for my Bearded Dragons terrarium. He seems to like it, it gives him something to dig into a little bit when hes walking along the bottom. Theres some controversy over whether or not sand is safe for Bearded Dragons because of consumption. However if you keep an eye on your beardie or take him or her outside of the terrarium for feeding, its not a huge issue.
