Retainer Brite Tablets for Cleaner Retainers and Dental Appliances - 120 Count

Ive been cleaning my clear (invisalign) retainers with the (naturals brand in the black box) for several years but thought id try these because the reviews are better and theyd ship quicker since I only had a few tablets left. I soaked them like I have normally, I put them in the soaking cup in the am and let them sit in the tablet water until I put them in again at night after I brush my teeth. Holy crap after the first soak my retainers have NEVER been this clean. Honestly I was amazed! Crystal clear and glossy in every single crevice. I would rate a full 5 stars if it werent for the smell of the tablets, I am very sensitive to smells and feel like I can taste it, too. I have to rinse them twice as long as I had w/my old tablets. I dont have any issues w/them dissolving in warm or cool water. My daughter gets her braces off in a month and a half and I will be stocking up on these because I want her to use them, too. I dont know why I waited so long to try these!

These tablets are pretty good for cleaning my Invisalign retainers. The flavor isnt as potent as I would like, but it is pleasant enough. I took one star off my review because the packaging is not easy to tear open to get to the tablet. They are packed in a 4 x 2 configuration, and there is a perforation running down the middle so you can tear them into two separate strips of 4. There are no perforations between each of the four tablets, so unless you use scissors you cant get a good cut. If you tear it by hand you may expose the next tablet to water/humidity, which could render it useless. Its enough of a pain to me to not want to order these again.

Ive been using this retainer cleaner for years, and my only complaint is: why didnt I start using it sooner??? I really love this product, it leaves my retainers odor free and with no visible stains. The quality has been consistent and its so easy to dissolve even in colder water. There have been times where I left my retainers soaking in this solution all day (not recommended), but even then its turned out fine. This is a steep upgrade from my soak in white vinegar days where I would dread putting on my retainers at night because of the taste, or my leave in mouthwash days where nothing was even being adequately cleaned.

I like these cleaners--they take 20 minutes, but I like that about them. I use these 2 days a week and other quicker cleaners about 5 days a week if I am in a hurry. Amazon shipped these, and they shipped the package in a mailer. The box inside was completely mashed and torn and nearly fell apart when I opened it. There was a note that Amazon was trying this new way of shipping. This is not the fault of the manufacturer. These are a really good product.
