It feels just like an old Genesis controller, perfect for Genesis game on Switch like the Genesis Collection, but also for other Sega classics like Sonic Mania and Virtua Racing, and other retro games like Street Fighter. This controller also works with PS3, which also has a great selection of Sega titles, even its own Genesis Collection. I 100% recommend it.

Excellent control pad for use with my PC emulators and the Genesis Mini when it is released. Feels just slightly heavier than the original control pad but all the buttons feel very nice. Extra long cord is a nice feature. Very happy with purchase and will be using this pad regularly.

I had ordered this along with a blue controller for the Genesis Mini. Tested it once, it worked just fine. The second time using it, the controller wasnt responsive and is pretty much dead. Fortunately, Retro-Bit and Innex Inc. were kind enough to send me a replacement once another stock arrived, which has been working fine since. I wrote in my review for the Blue controller that Retro-Bit had decided to implement a unique macro command for Switch and Steam, in that pressing the A and Start Buttons together would bring up the home screen, which unfortunately cancels out the A+Start command on the Genesis Mini and PC emulators, preventing you from doing codes such as the Sonic 1 and 2 level select codes. So while you have to use the 3-button controllers included with the Genesis Mini for those, its another issue if you dont have one and wanted to use these exclusively with the PC. This affects all controllers designed with Switch compatibility, and will likely affect future controllers as well. Aside from that, the controllers are very well designed and work well.

I still have my original 6-button Genesis/MDrive controller and this thing is practically flawless. Get it.

Very good product for Sega genesis emulator, so far they have done the job.

Feels just like an original Sega controler

Side by side with the original controllers you wouldnt know the difference. Even the buttons and dpad feel the same. It is really pretty amazing a third party controller can be this close to the original. I wish Retrobit could get the same deal going with Nintendo for the original NES, SNES, N64 and even Gamecube controllers.

Feels just like the classic genesis controller. I really found this to be solid and provided a great experience with comfortable controls.

After getting the Sega Mini last year, while I love the old classic 3 button controller that I grew up with, I needed a 6 button controller to play the fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. The only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is just because I can not play the original mortal kombat on the mini with the 6 button. I can use it with Mortal Kombat 2 and 3, but just not the original.
