21-11-2024My main concern with this controller was whether or not the thumbsticks would be recognized properly by ATV Off-road Fury. By that I mean if in only input about 1/4 left or right steering I want it to show that incremental input on the screen and it ABSOLUTELY does! I had a couple cheap wireless PS2 clone controllers, but the thumbsticks acted more like the d-pad, meaning no matter how little input I entered, it was recognized on screen as though I threw the thumbsticks all the way right or left. This controller is GREAT! Honestly, the shape takes some getting used to from the PS2 official controller but thats the slightest of nit picks.

> 3 dayComfortable fit for my large hands. Easy pairing and detailed instructions included. Using with my PS Classic with autobleem and all the games feel so much better with a top-tier input device. I really appreciate the USB-C charging port so I can charge everything else with 1 charger (phone, tablet, controller). If I make any friends that enjoy Old school games, Ill definitely buy a 2nd Defender!

> 3 dayLike a lot of people I play games with my index finger resting on top of the controller, which is a comfortable position, and certainly one thats been intended since the NES controller (to some degree).

> 3 dayPara PS2 muy bien, pero para varios juegos de PS1 el recorrido de los análogos son largos y demasiados sensibles

Greater than one weekIt’s adequate but certainly doesn’t feel premium. The plastic feels cheap, and the analog sticks have HUGE dead zones. Don’t even try to play a first person shooter or any game requiring high accuracy with this. Retro fighters are not known for their quality.

> 3 dayThis controllers concept is perfect for a lot of people trying to more cheaply play old games without getting PS Premium and the OG controllers are rare or having several for 3 systems is a bit cluttered.

Greater than one weekAll my OEM ps3 controller either don’t work too great anymore or have awful battery life now, not to mention how uncomfortable they are. This controller works perfectly for all ps3, ps2 and ps1 games on the ps3. Only downside is the weird drivers install to play ps2 games on the ps3 for the controller and how light the controller is, but besides those two issue this is a pure upgrade to the original controllers.

> 3 dayHad a couple days to play around with the Defender and very impressed with it! Vibration feedback works great, the d-pad I am not detecting any missed inputs, analog sticks are tight and precise. I tested on MGS on PS2 and the pressure sensitive buttons are great and respond as they should! One thing though is that the pressure sensitive buttons work on original hardware not PC. No latency issues experienced or dropped connections.
