The mat is sturdy soft and does what it says. However the my daughter desk we bought it for is rather small and the pad is longer than the workspace. Just be aware that if you are using a smaller desk it will have a couple of inches of overhang.

Arrived in a shipping box without dents yet when opened the box the mat was in looked like it was kicked across a warehouse floor. Regardless the mat was blemish free and the LEDs work fine. *Update* Few months after purchase the stitching that wraps around the LED strip to hold it into place has begun falling apart. Mainly in the front where it sees physical contact. Should be able to fix it with a needle and some thread enough to squeeze out a few more months. Just be aware its not the highest quality stitching and isnt going to last years upon years on daily use. The LEDs themselves still work as well as day one. Still decent for 18 bucks...

I have used this mousepad for around a month now and nothing has gone wrong with it. I use the LogiTech G305 mouse and it glides very well on this mousepad despite its weight. Perfect size for gaming. The RGB is very good but a little dim. Would recommend.
