> 3 dayIt is definitely for a 50 pound child or larger. My child is 45 pounds and it’s a little big. I put it on her to try out and even though it’s a little big, so probably not safe yet for a vehicle, it seems very comfortable. Right now we are using it with chairs and bikes. Once she out grows her car seat this will be so much easier. No lifting her so high and not hitting her head on the top of the vehicle if I life to high

> 3 dayThis worked out nicely for a trip where we did not have a car with us. I got decently fast at getting it on and off my kid. However, my kid HATED it and made sure we knew. There were tears with almost every trip in the car. I probably should have practiced more before but I will say it does not give the kid the same sense of stability. My kid didn’t like how much you could move side to side and couldn’t rest their head.

Greater than one weekWe now own a second one. Our two oldest, 6 and 4 use these on trips when we fly places since they pack so easily and work in almost all vehicle situations. We have used them in cars that would not have been easy or possible to use traditional booster or car seats in. These vests require only a basic retractable adult lap + shoulder belt. These are the best, there is no other way to travel with kids. Additionally we keep them in the cargo compartment in our car for whenever we bring other kids along in our third row. They come in super handy. They’re so easy for kids to pop on, climb into the third row and then buckle themselves with the lap + shoulder belt. They’re super adjustable. We have had 3 to 8 year olds use ours, the smallest size.

> 3 dayFirst off, make sure your children are big enough to fit into it. My youngest, 4, is still a tad on the small side and wiggles out of it. For my 6 yr old, he fits into well and loves the freedom it offers. They can sit in any of the 10 seats (12 seat van) and enjoys being able to move around between stops on long trips. The harnesses are sturdy and comfortable. It takes a tiny bit more work to get them in and secured, but the ability to move anywhere and not worry about big seats/boosters is all worth it.

Greater than one weekI would watch installment videos. And make sure your child is okay with wearing it. Make sure its legal in your state too. But I love this. I sometimes need extra room as I sometimes car pool with 2 other kinds in car seats and I love that they can all fit in the back with out having to slam the doors shut. I use a small on my 8 year old and a small on a 5 year old too. My cousin (10) is a little big for it a small. But the medium works well for her.

Greater than one weekI like it and my son loves it. The metal belt guides do bend easily but maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. My son hates using a booster but loves using this vest so we don’t have to fight any more

> 3 dayWe had several trips planned this year and I was looking for a different car seat option for my four year old. This fit the bill. I didn’t feel comfortable switching my son to a booster because he was barely over the weight requirements. This 5 point harness is safer and only weighs 3 lbs! It takes longer to get him in the car but we didn’t mind considering I didn’t have to lug a big heavy carseat through the airport.

Greater than one weekWe purchased this product to use while traveling instead of dealing with the hassle of a car seat. It was fantastic! We loved not having to carry and check in a car seat at the airline, didn’t have to worry about installing a car seat with taxi’s and rental cars etc. It was a learning curve for both us and our child but we figured it out. Extremely light weight and easily fit in our carry on. Our vest didn’t come with instructions but we were able to print them from the company website. Watching videos online was a huge help for installation and proper position. We used our vest with an inflatable booster seat because our child could not see out of the window. We had one hard break in the car and witnessed first hand that this thing works ! (We also used the top tether strap in every vehicle). Our taxi driver didn’t believe it was “like a car seat” and gave some grief but were okay with our booster seat. However once they saw how the vest worked and installed they got the point (also where we experienced the hard break job).
