The screen came in in perfect condition and works perfectly. However, if youve just replaced a screen or something on another device, this thing might be a shock to put replace, as its essentially a full internals swap to the new assembly. Lots of tiny easy to break wires. Definitely get professional help before you even attempt it if you doubt yourself. The screen itself is pretty much exactly the same as the old, the speakers work just as clearly as well. The whole thing was wrapped securely between two pieces of cardboard wrapped in bubble wrap inside of a box that didnt allow much movement at all all contained within the standard amazon shipping package, as well as there being a plastic sheet covering the front of the screen. TL;DR: The screen assembly was received in perfect condition and, while difficult to preform the replacement, works just as well as the original screen the Vita I had came with.

This screen was fairly simple to install, just be wary of the power wire as it can be torn fairly easy (not an issue with the screen, but disassembly of the Vita). I essentially was able to refurbish my Vita and make the annoying scratches disappear. It is exactly identical to the OEM Screen, and you cant see any differences to make you think otherwise exception to how clean the screen is and how scratched the body of the Vita is (bought it used). Great product, great company!

I got my screen and was very excited to finally be able to play my Vita games again, only to be greeted by a MASSIVE spot of glue on the top left of my screen. It is ignorable unless Im looking at a very bright image on the screen. It doesnt come with any thermal paste on the back plate, but I really didnt expect it to anyways. Its an LCD screen and not an OLED screen. They say it is OLED but the screen gives off a purple glare when its turned off which OLED displays do not do. Im not sure how they expect me to ignore the massive glue spot so hopefully theyll send me a replacement one that doesnt have that same issue. With all of this being said, I give it a 2/5. UPDATE: There are spots all over the screen that dont have the correct coloration and are darker than the rest of the screen. Im not going to buy another screen from this company again.

Pretty great for the price. My screen came in great condition (packaged in a small box with insulation and bubble wrap and film around the screen itself) and had little to no problems installing. I will say keep in mind some parts may not fit perfect such as the L and R plastic holders. I think the mold was slightly off but that’s an easy fix if you just use a screwdriver to make the hole bigger but after that it was fine. For the price it’s hard to beat but this is not a simple project and will take patience.

Didnt work for me. After installation the screen came on but touch functionality was missing.

I was worried about honestly ordering this and installing it myself, but I am so glad I did. It came flawless and was an exact replacement.

This screen replacement is pretty good. Mold is pretty important with repairing the vita 1000 because everything screws into the screen assembly except the battery and rear touch sensor, then you have to sandwich them together. The molding on this screen was near perfect, as I had no issues fitting all the parts in with no gaps with stock back. Fully assembled, my vita looks brand new. The only issue I have is a slight discoloration in the glass just above the vita logo, its noticable when the screen is off or with black images are displayed, however its only barely noticeable, see the images.

I bought two of these based on other hit or miss reviews. First, these ARE 100% OLED SCREENS - at least my two were. Also the finish on both the face and sides looks perfect to me, same glossiness, same reflectiveness, etc. The logos are spot on as well. I feel like these might actually just be factory rejects that were put aside and resold later due to minor defects found in QC. I think this because both of my replacements look and perform just like the factory model, but had minor issues. As you can see in the photos, one had some cracking on the front above the face buttons. This is somewhat minor and only really visible in brighter light, but still definitely there. The other had a somewhat bad mura effect on the screen. If you dont know what this is, look up Mura effect Vita and youll see some good reference images - all Vitas have this to some degree, its effectively a minor backlight uniformity issue and is often just a couple small splotches but my replacement has a noticeable streak from the bottom middle to the middle right of the screen that measures ~5cm long and about 2-3mm thick. These oled defects are generally only noticeable in low light, more uniform scenes (like loading screens) and will almost never be noticeable during normal play, especially at a higher brightness. but having a big streak instead of a couple small splotches is definitely enough to be visible in some scenes (like in menus and while playing on minimum brightness). The fit of the replacement was spot on, I had no issues there. Just be aware that replacing the faceplate is a hassle, harder than a PSP but definitely still doable for anyone careful enough and with the right tools - Id strongly suggest looking up a tutorial on YT before diving in, and dont forget to swap over the smaller parts like the plastic for the game cartridge light, silver joystick rings, and 4 thermal pads. Overall Im happy enough with the replacement, as you can see my old faceplate was pretty beat up so this is a major improvement, it just isnt quite factory perfect and your mileage may vary for what defects you end up with (if any.)

When I just got my item I was happy to unbox it but when revealing the item it has air bubbles in it or a crack in the screen and Im not happy about this and i want a refund from this product
