It has none of the front panel organization shown, one pocket only big enough for an old iPhone 5, NONE of the newer/bigger phones will fit. No place for pens, thumb drives, etc. Carry this bag around all day with some weight in it and youll feel it, no shoulder pad on the strap, as shown in pics. HERES THE THING, THIS BAG IS DISCONTINUED SO AMAZON ISNT GOING TO CORRECT ANYTHING, THEYRE JUST DUMPING THEIR STOCK AND MOVING ON. REAL NICE.

> 24 hourThe image Amazon presented does not match the product they send out and I’ve posted a photo of what the bag truly looks like. Others have reported the same and I can confirm the consistency of that with my order. It seems like a reasonable design for the money.

> 24 hourOverall Im very happy with the bag. Its built to hold up for decades, as Ive come to expect from Carhartt. I would have appreciated a few more pockets, zipper for the laptop sleeve, pad on the strap, but Ill trade all of that for the peace of mind that Ill likely still be using this bag 20 years from now.

> 24 hourThe construction is very sound, the material is light-weight and repels water; plus there are several small outer pockets for lip balm, etc. The only downfall is that it is not big enough for my daughters 4 textbooks, spiral binder, dance shoes, water bottle, and pen/pencil bag, Whew! I measured it compared to last years ratty bag and discovered its an inch narrower in depth. My bad.

> 24 hourAs a big fan of the Carhartt brand, I am completely disappointed in this messenger bag. There isnt a padded pocket for a laptop. The overall construction is only good as a bag to carry your lunch, a notebook, and not much else. I ordered a $10 sleeve for the laptop and it still feels slight. For my $60 ($70 w/ sleeve), Im looking for a bit more than sewn nylon.
