> 24 hourNot much to say, they get the job done. Theyre not as robust as a nice solid brass major-brand adapter, but youll pay 5x as much for one of those. I try to keep my filter sets to 77mm (for my Nikkors and my Mamiya RB67 glass) and 52mm (for my smaller film cameras); this lets me get my 77mm filters and caps on a 90mm Super Angulon, no drama, no issues.

> 24 hourI recently purchased several Breakthrough Photography filters to use on my larger lenses with 82mm filter threads, so I decided to buy some affordable step-up rings so I could use those filters on my smaller lenses. I found hundreds of step-up rings on Amazon, and decided to buy several step-up rings to try them out. Even though I was not familiar with the Rise(UK) brand, I purchased 2 of their products: a 52mm-82mm step-up ring, and a 67mm-82mm step-up ring. I was not familiar with the Fotasy brand, but I also purchased a 2-pack of their 77mm-82mm rings to evaluate. After receiving these step-up rings, I proceeded to try them out with my various lenses and filters. The Rise(UK) step-up rings are really well built and work perfectly. They are made of aluminum, and as a result are very lightweight and affordable. I also have the equivalent Breakthrough Photography step-up rings, which are made of brass, but they are a lot heavier, and cost 6 times more than the Rise(UK) rings. The Rise(UK) step-up rings are beautifully machined, and perfectly shaped all around. They have smooth sides (as opposed to knurled sides to facilitate handling), but I did not have any problems gripping them to attach and remove them from my lenses and filters. The front and rear threads are also really well machined, and I did not have any problems screwing them into and out of my Nikon lenses and Breakthrough Photography, B+W, and Heliopan filters. The Rise(UK) step-up rings have an even, black satin sheen finish, which is either an anodization or paint layer to reduce light reflection, and the step-up ring size and Rise(UK) brand name are painted in white on the side of the ring for easy identification. Im very happy with my new Rise(UK) step-up rings, and I look forward to evaluating more of their photography products. In comparison, the Fotasy step-up rings did not work for me. I could not get either of the 2 Fotasy step-up rings to screw in to my Nikon lenses or filters. I was extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the Fotasy step-up rings, and ended up requesting a refund from Amazon. I did order a Rise(UK) 77mm-82mm step-up ring after my poor experience with the Fotasy rings, and I can happily confirm that the Rise(UK) 77mm-82mm step-up ring is also really well built and works perfectly, just like my other Rise(UK) rings. If you are shopping for high-quality and affordable step-up rings, then look no further. Rise(UK) has done a great job manufacturing these rings, and you will not regret buying them.
