> 3 dayBought this to protect my new Lenovo external DVD drive and was a little apprehensive because I could not find a Lenovo case and worried about the form and fit. It fit perfectly — nice and snug, with no side space for it to rattle around. Nice padded recess for it to fit into, and a permanent wide elastic band to hold it even more firmly in place. The other side of this clamshell hard case has a zippered, netted compartment perfect for cables and my small DVD manual. Exactly the right item for me, and on my doorstep a day or two after I ordered it with Amazon Prime.

> 3 dayIt arrived on time and was what was described appears well built for its stated purpose. I bought it for my portable DVD drive (which fit properly) but needed it for my personal CD player for class work (fit perfectly) when packed in my suitcase. Need to by another for my DVD drive now. Very happy with it.

Greater than one weekFits my Pioneer Electronics BDR-XS07UHD perfectly. Given that we dont use CDs on the computer as often as we used to (and since my new PC doesnt have a drive), wanted something to keep my stand alone drive safe, and not just banging around in a drawer. Seems quite sturdy, was exactly what I was looking for.

> 3 dayIt appears really sturdy and will likely protect my device if dropped—but ONLY if it’s completely zipped closed. I would have liked to have had (1) BOTH an additional elastic strap holding the device and (2) the strap that’s currently there (and any additional ones), to be much, much tighter. Because the elastic is not very tight, if the case is open and it falls, your device is pretty much guaranteed to fall out and hit a hard surface.
