Works perfect for our Sony Surround sound system. The old remote had a few keys that no longer worked and it took a while to find a remote that matched. Very pleased to replace this for a fair cost vs rigging a universal remote.

Just put in batteries, aim at system and it works. I have a Sony theatre system wasn’t sure if I’d find the same remote but it’s the exact same. Very happy with it. Priced well too!

For some weird reason the volume key on my stock Sony remote quit working. I was in a scramble and even ready to buy a new theater system until I figured out it was the bad remote. So a factory replacement is like 40 dollars plus shipping and with covid who knows how long that would take to get here from overseas? I then found this generic one on Amazon. Being a Prime member it was at my house in 2 days. Works absolutely perfect and was less than 10 dollars. Amazing replacement and great service from seller.

When I star trying to turn on my Sony home theater it was not working but I turn it manually first then hi start work after that works fine I recommend this control for sony home theater BDV_E3100
